Interesting anecdote this juvestard friend of mine is bringing up :

The following events all took place in 1978 :

1) Juventus won the scudetto
2) Liverpool won the European Cup
3) The Pope died
4) Fiorentina avoided relegation in the last day of the League
5) Inter won the Coppa Italia

Two years later, Milan's President got arrested and the team went to serie B.

The first 4 events have already all happened again this year. Hence he will support Inter in the Coppa final...Will history repeat itself?
Well, I would have to say negative on that one Libero.

Although Berlusconi could always be arrested..

Actually I meant to ask whether the sixth coincidence will also be borne out if Inter were to win the Coppa.

After due reflection though, I think there are more chances of Inter lifting a trophy this year than there are of seeing Berlusca behind bars within the next decade, regardless of whether he's guilty or not. As for a return to serie B, that looks even more remote, so don't hold your hopes too high, gobbi!

Well,

Milan won the last scudetto of the Rivera era (and the first of the Baresi era).
Perugia finished second without losing one game.
Juve won the Coppa.
Nottingham Forest won the European Cup.
Roma avoided relegation.

And the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan..

Not much chance of Items 4 and 6 happening, but all the others could... Milan getting the last scudetto of the Maldini era (if he chooses to stay on)...
I believe Perugia are coming back to Serie A...
We can definitely win the Coppa...
Roma may avoid relegation again :D...

Why not Fabi? :frown:
You should invite me to yours. I just had a graduation party, but it wasnt like a prom where you like go with your date and there is prom queen and king. I guess we dont have that tradition
