37 of Juve's 38 Serie A matches were shown on live TV coverage in the USA this season, so the coverage was outstanding (even if the commentary was shit). What is the story with less coverage for next year?

Andy, if Gol TV bails, I might have to fulfill my lifelong ambition of taking up residence in Mexico. And yes, Deportes is always on in Mexico.
I just got Dish Network which carries Gol TV just for Serie A coverage. Are you telling me they are going to be less games next season? That will kinda piss me off.

Well, I heard from Vinni that Sky is going to raise the price of Serie A packages to other networks by about 300%, or triple the price of the last deal. If that happens there are rumours GOL TV will not dish out the cash and just drop that coverage. Sky or FIGC or whoever are being a bunch of douchebags to say the least.

Pado, FFS there are so many Mexicans that have Dish Network. Wouldn't you think it would be a good business decision to provide ESPN Deportes to their thousands of Spanish-speaking customers? And if DirecTV gets it before Dish I'm gonna be pissed. They already have a Sententa sports package that will cover CL matches next season. :groan:

And the Goddamn TV saga continues for another year.

Dish Network and DirecT both offer the channel Gol TV, which covers Serie A games. Or they did show over 80 matches this season.

Rai International shows one match per week, and of course that channel is extra because it's an international channel. That is offered by the Dish.

What a great result!!!

They all said ricky was over rated

They said he was Overhyped

They said Kostya would rip him too peices

No one gave him a chance

Yet Ricky made the second best fighter in the history of the division quit on his stool... A broken man

Forza Ricky !!!

A true Champion!!!

Kudos to Kostya Tszyu... A legend in victory and defeat

Yes...

I was one of those people who didnt think Ricky had a chance...

He had 38 wins, but I only heard of 3 or 4 of these guys who he had fought (and I keep up with boxing pretty well)

Kostya had many good wins under his belt, I thought it would only have been a matter of time before Ricky was ko'ed by Tszyu's right hand...

but I was wrong !!

ricky came out and won every round, IMO

His pace in the 11th round was the same as the 1st round

He stayed on top of Tszyu, and made him fight every second of every round

He made Tszyu QUIT !!!!

Congrats to Ricky !!

Personally i m quite happy with Giannichedda... hes a more than useful squad player whos very versatile

Kovac... Dont know what we want him for... absolute waste of space.. hopefully we will take barzagli and bonera in the not too distant future... which will make me happy.

On a different note... what with the likelihood of you americans having your allready poor juve coverage getting less next season... where will you all get your weekly juve fix?

What do you know that we dont ???

I've heard rumors (see Andy's post)

Give it to us straight, Paul (we can take it !!!)

Gobbi's, children, Bacon-lovers, sheep humpers, Cops wearing kappa tack suits, friends and immigration fraud artists I bid you a temporary good bye. I am taking a short urgent trip home tomorrow (my relatives have their parole hearing coming up ) and doubt I will be on-line in a while...on that note, Pado check your voicemail as you may get a Balky sounding dude greeting you
Andrew, Vincenzo, Sergio, Roberto and Paul...be well and keep in touch.

Given the unknown fate of this forum this may be the final posting by your 'respected c_ _ _'...see on another forum where I'll have a whole new set of 'kids' to put into place....

Bye to you too Emma....even though I liked the OLD Emma better.

This is the real Nick, aka Christian Broochi, not Vieri. Your very own player. How could you not recognize this?.... Shame on you.

The Height matches as well :D

RAI Int'l shows two Serie A matches per week, as they did last year. (Except last year they also covered Serie B, which they did not this past season.) They also show a lot of the Coppa games (whoopie), Italy NT home games, and Serie A highlight shows.

But yeah -- every season it seems we have to do a new little dance for TV coverage. :( Ultimately, someone will have to cover Serie A games -- but you'll have to pay for it. You can thank our jersey sponsors for that one. ;)

You missed it all, Cheta. Padovano took up shoe abstinence, and Nick joined an Amsterdam night circus as a sex-performing midget.

Interesting anecdote this juvestard friend of mine is bringing up :

The following events all took place in 1978 :

1) Juventus won the scudetto
2) Liverpool won the European Cup
3) The Pope died
4) Fiorentina avoided relegation in the last day of the League
5) Inter won the Coppa Italia

Two years later, Milan's President got arrested and the team went to serie B.

The first 4 events have already all happened again this year. Hence he will support Inter in the Coppa final...Will history repeat itself?
