Does any country have a news media that is worth defending?

I love the BBC, but I also have read the most racist headlines in English newspapers, which does go a ways toward undoing all of the brilliant work of th BBC when considering the UK media as a whole. For years I had to endure "Fritz" being the newspaper buzzword for the country of Germany. England beats Germany in football and we see: "Take that, Fritz."

Its the way people say our media is so biased but they only see such a small part of it... they have no idea...
You cant base a conclusion on only seeing a tenth of the pie
These arguments also never mention the crap that other countries media spurt out... Why??
Simply ,as i said earlier, The world doesnt see enough of it...
The facts are all western countries are biased to a certain point and all of them talk some shit and some truth.... Why slag off one yet not mention the others... its a joke.
Then you get the total anti - media stuff... If these people hate the media so much... why the fvck do they read / watch it.. and even then... if they think its all bullshit.. why the hell do they repeat it to everyone they see.
The missinformed when it comes to transfer rumours is a prime example... saying the press makes it up.. blah blah blah...
The non monitored media... eg. bullshit websites that have no real right to use the word 'news' ... may indeed make it up...
The others dont... One day people will actually realise where these stories come from.
Most people would be absolutely shocked if they went and worked in the press office of an internationally recognised and monitored media outlet for jus one single day
Another recent example that comes to mind... is the canna tape...
People attacking rai all over the place... Yet 99% of those attacking them... have only seen the 4 minute tape... not the program that was wrapped around it... or the programms since then...

Exactly, that's the shit I hate the most. The Italians are made out to be the "bad guys" of football because of their "typical defensive catenaccio game" bullshit that comes out of the mouths of commentators such as Tommy Smith or other so called "experts" who always put the English game on a pedestal above the Italian. The poor souls in North America who have a fairly limited knowledge of football believe the crap some of these commentators say because they don't know any better. Then when you want to have a discussion with fans of the English game they are so misinformed it's almost worthless to even try. The negative exposure the Italian game gets is unfair and unjustified in the US and people are being misinformed by the "experts" from the United Kingdom who teach the game to the Americans who unfortunately listen willingly.
The only report for an Italian match on ESPN here in the US was the San Siro flare disaster in which Irish commentator Tommy Smith reported "only in Italy." That was the only headline dedicated to the Italian game, and after that report they just started to talk about how great Man United and Chelsea is.
