I disagree;
for the first example off the top of my head, take Roberto Baggio. I'm pretty sure he knows he's a great footballer, and he wasn't lacking confidence by any stretch of the imagination, but whenever he scored, I just loved the way he would point out the player who gave him the assist and give them credit, instead of running around pointing to the name on the back of his shirt.
That's the difference between humility/confidence/arrogance. Maybe a bad example, but I hope u understand.

All I meant was that, you may become successful by being an arrogant asshole, but those kind of people are the ones who get their coffee spiked when they leave their desk
