Yeah, the whole band is. I haven´t seen the BBC sessions, only listened to some of it. It is quite early stuff, isn´t it? Remember to listen to their older stuff also.

I was a bit worried there for a moment: I have a brother by that name! I've heard of the book, but never read it.
Gerrad buckley is his name. HE got married to my sister over a year ago.

Would you people not have sex with a girl because shes fat? Even if she has a popularity for being more than good on it?
Then there are also those don't pick their sexual partners by reputation :lazy:

I prefer not to comment on your so-called "stoneage-theory".

I think you are being a little extreme.. I sniffed glue in 7th grade, and I turned out pretty well, didn't die or anything.. so chill a little Dr.
I'm not saying that it's healthy for a person to be obese.
I'm just trying to say that if anybody wants help, they'll do whatever they can to get it. You can't force people into eating less, just because you're scared they'll die of heart-attack.
Being fat is just really another form of self destruction. Like smoking is really. And sniffing glue once wont hurt of course, but a habit like many people have with eating, is self destructive.

What if it was a one night stand? I would never do something with someone just because Ive heard theyre good, but there are people who have -like for example I have a friend that all men go for because theyve heard she's easy (sad but true)

a friend of mine had a theory:

the best lay are fat chicks because they never know when they will GET it again so make the RARE TIMES count to the fullest..
    I haven't tested the theory..nor do I plan to.

Andy: I am not denying metabolism as I see those examples you speak of daily BUT just get LIPOSUCTION or a stomach staple and the problems end. Cancer or other diseases that are also part of a genetic gene pool don't have those sort of options..so in a world where people croak while reading the sunday sports at 45 from heart attacks because of genetics I won't bat an eyelid to someone crying over their weight problem and genetics...the solutions are available...
P.S. half the time the ones who complain about FAT CELLS and their genes are the same who wolf down Mcdonalds as afternoon snacks because "It doesn't make a difference ...." they claim they will always be fat.

PLEASE...Let me know when you have REAL PROBLEMS.

i sorta agree with some of your points. Cancer is death, but not self induced, like over eating.

I didn't know you were a former PUGILIST Vincenzo...another reason not to fek with this Italo-American Shake drinking bestia in Uniform. Thank God the Cops at San Siro and Delle Alpi don't follow your regiment and hobbies otherwise my veggie throwing days would be long gone.
Do you guys remember Arturo Gatti? When he began training in the late 80's in NY he stayed at our house for a month or two since my parents knew someone on his side, etc. The kid was a sick fecker...he would taunt the neighbor's rottweiller...got into like 10 fights the first day he arrived and insisted much like Jake LaMotta I punch him in the head with a towel around my fist. Crazy Fecker...GOOD TIMES!

Riv...yes the Spice teen thing was my creation and though Pado, Sergio and co. claim I lost my touch I think the RIV-AH SPICE think is kind of 'spot on'. Your a spice girl with bite and bitterness. Emma was much more blunt and to the point...you are fairly blunt but I have yet to see you make any point :cheesy:

Fliakis: I never turn down a beer ... let me know what game your planning to come down to watch. Can we bring Lilianna :dontcare:
I met Arturo Gatti back in 1994 when he had a fight in Secaucus NJ (across the river from NYC). My friend was on the undercard, so we got to meet him after his fight. He's a good guy. On Sept 18 I might go to a boxing hall of fame dinner in Rochester NY where Gatti will be the guest of honor (along with Mickey Ward)

My cousin was a world champion during the mid 80's . Nick , I'm sure you've heard of Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini. That is my first cousin (and the main reason I got into boxing)

Hahaha, watch your mouth. Maybe you'll end up marrying an overweight woman and getting laid with her the rest of your life

Now youre talking about liposuction like if it was something as easy like getting an eyebrow wax, liposuction is a very risky procedure and you could die on it. After you do it you gotta get some massages so the skin goes back to normal, and those massages hurt a lot. It also takes awhile to heal.

I hope a woman with insecurities about her weight never hears you talking about all this because she will probably end up in a clinic for recovery just like that Olsen twin

Its there problem. Let them deal with it. Unless someone here has a very close friend who is going through these problems, or there is someone who is going through it themselves, then admit it. You DONT REALLY CARE. Why would you really care when its not your problem. Everyone has their own problems, everyone needs to deal with their own problems.

Well those special procedures, namely Liposuction and Gastric bypass surgery, have special risks which means not all people can have the job done. The latter is a complecated procedure that is not fail safe, and certain people can't have it done. The other aspect of those features is from a financial point, in which some people might not be able to afford the procedures. Of course you'll say well maybe they would have more money if they lay off the Big Macs :)D), but maybe that isn't entirely true. Some cases it isn't. But IF I was obese, I would certainly have the job done.

How bad is it, and how twisted are some of the morals within these corporations in this country, despite the well-known fact of child obesity here??

He was never the same after that fight at Caesar's Palace back in '82 against Kim. On his way to being a legendary lightweight.

tell him that a lot of Italian-Americans are still very proud of him.

Finally, someone else in this forum who knows boxing. (Looks skyward as if to say, Thank you Lord)

Vin, are you going to watch De La Hoya-Hopkins next saturday??

I ALMOST feel sorry for De La Hoya.

No, Ray was mentally not the same fighter.

Imagine being 21 years old, and having something like that happen...he was still a kid for crying out loud.........

We never really talked about it, none of us in the family. In 1994, ESPN did "Outside the lines" with violence in sports as the topic. For the first time, Ray really talked about it. I even got on the show, for about 20 seconds. They interviewed me for 40 minutes, and all I got was 20 seconds !!!!!! Thats life in showbiz..............

Believe me, the kids I went to school with gave me lots of aggravation. There wasnt too many days that went by after that , when someone wouldn't say "your cousin is a killer". I got into many fights because of it.....

As far as De La Hoya goes, I think he's a phony !!! Always have , always will !!!!! I hope Hopkins kicks his ass bad (and he will !!)

Vinman, I loved Boom Boom Mancini! I had no idea he was your cousin. That Duk Kim fight was a tragedy for sure.

Also, thank you for ending that mind-numbing talk about fat.

    So . . . 20-team Serie A - who is getting relegated?

    I will venture:

    18th : Reggina
    19th : Siena
    20th : Messina
