Andries, besides drinking on fine brews, what is there to do in Antwerp? That is, apart from observing the spectacular fortifications.
I would have to say that, for a person having to travel all across the ocean, Antwerp isn't a great destination. It's, despite the fascism, a quite cosy city. But very much like Parma, cosy isn't worth the trip IMO :).

Soccer violence leaves 13 injured, 27 arrested
February 25, 2007

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) -- Soccer fans and riot police fought after a game between Belgrade rivals, leaving at least 13 people injured and 27 arrested.

Red Star fans were angered by their team's 4-2 loss to Partizan on Saturday. They built barricades with garbage bins downtown as police on horseback charged them, witnesses said.

The arrests came at Red Star stadium and at later fighting that left at least 12 fans and one police officer injured, police said Sunday. Criminal charges will be filed against five fans for triggering the violence.

One fan sustained serious injuries to his eyes when a flare hit his face, hospital officials said.

Red Star leads the first division with 42 points, nine points ahead of second-placed Partizan. This was Partizan's first victory against its crosstown rival in six years.

Blues star taken to hospital
By Alex Livie - Created on 25 Feb 2007

John Terry has been taken to hospital after picking up a head injury during Sunday's Carling Cup final.

The Chelsea skipper stooped to make a header and was caught full in the face by Abou Diaby, although no blame could be apportioned to the Arsenal man.

Players from both sides made frantic gestures to the touchline as Terry lay motionless on the floor.

Both sides' medical teams were quickly in attendance and Terry was tended to for some time before being taken away on a stretcher.

Sky Sports' touchline reporter Jeff Shreeves informed the watching public that Terry had been taken to hospital feeling extremely groggy, with poor memory recall, but conscious.

Terry had been a doubt for the game on Friday, having picked up an ankle injury against Porto in midweek, but passed a fitness test on Saturday.

I just finished watching the Schalke Leverkusen game, and Lincoln got sent off after the full time whistle had already been blown, is that even possible?
Aye, you can be sent off in the dressing room before kickoff, and after the final whistle as well. Just another way for the referee to exercise his dominion over the players.

Do you mean that the referee has authority from the moment they enter the dressing room until they leave the dressing room after the game?

Hey Andy, I'm watching so many good games today.

You are going to be the mad man.
I'm currently watching the "Calgary" - Lazio match, and it has not been that entertaining thus far. Massimo Mutarelli is running around with tattoos obliterating his arm and looking like a Paolo Di Canio wannabe. Rocchi is missing chances again while David Sauzo continues to stretch his long Honduran legs and Cagliari is still being called the Calgary Flames by the commentators. For some reason Jerome Iginla just hit the post.
