PARIS - The French high speed train TGV has set a new speed record. The train reached 553 km/h (345 mph) just East of Paris yesterday in a test drive for a new type of train that will run on the soon to be opened North-South line from Amsterdam to Marseille via Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris and Lyon. The old record dated back to May 1990 at 515 km/h (320 mph).

Damn...

Just read an article in the New York Times about yet another attempt to introduce a Dollar coin (should be good) and it made me wonder if Americans find it easy to handle all those notes since they look so similar. Green+president. I would probably get confused and lose money over it :D

The euro bills are more diverse, which comes in very handy for people like me lol

It's French. Literally: "The Brewery". In practise it is usually a small shop where you can buy food and drink. Sometimes it's a small restaurant (usually for lunch purposes)
Thanks, Erik...
Is that from the book you're on, man? ))
You won't believe if I tell you it's for work reasons:D

Somebody in my company went to Japan and brought an invoice with this word in it. Knowing that we don't pay for beer and similar drinks, I had to google the word to find it has something to do with drinks, but couldn't find if it's a normal beverage, beer or whatever, so I asked the question...

Now, the invoice can be paid:D

When I was a kid, I used to come home from school and watch tv until my parents got home. Pretty much no matter what was on tv. Doing homework right after school never even occurred to me.

So the way I see it I pretty much rescued you guys from tv. :D

Unbelievable. The only time I get a decent internet speed is when no one in my apartment building is awake :depressed

On another note, I really like this song, should be I worried? :D

but in italy is much more deep rooted than that. beating or shooting someone would just make the ultras angrier and next time the riots would be even more harsh. ffs, they killed a cop and still dare to display "liberi ultras" and "acap" banners. says a lot, doesnt it?
were any of the thugs hurt or injured ??

how many were actually arrested ??

maybe if they got a little back that they were giving, it would change their mindset...they seem to be able to get away with everything FFS

Erik, you just have to look at the bills before you hand them over :D ...no problem !!

I do have a problem with carrying dollar coins...what a pain in the ass that will become, when its so much easier having paper in your wallet

Coins are more resistant to water and fire though.

Who do you think you're talking to? I saw you dig up a gigantic mountain of change out of every pocket in your outfit just a week ago :p

I still haven't managed to pawn all of it off on others
