:D

Though I blame the exposed power-lines. I don't know about the rest of Europe, but unlike US, the power-lines in Sweden are underground. Not only does that make the place look nice but power outages are significantly rare. Over here in the States a little wind can sometimes knock out the power :lazy:
In Ireland, it's mostly overhead. I didn't hear of much in the way of electricity problems during this storm though.

Quick question: I have this supposed quote from Marino, an artist who lived in the 17th century: "Intanto i miei libri, che sono fatti contro le regole, si vendono dieci scudi il pezzo a chi ne può avere; e quelli che son regolati, se ne stanno a scopar la polvere delle librarie.".

So he's saying that, whoever can afford it should buy the book, which then would cost 10 coins and who's not able to afford it should go and look them up in the libraries? Jeez... my Italian is going backwards these days :D.

I'm stuck here in a Penn State Computer Lab in a C++ course. Jesus, programming makes me want to bash my head into the keyboard. I don't have a clue how you deal with this nonsense, Martin.

I'm hoping a PSU Cop rolls in here, tasers me, and puts me out of my misery.

It helps if your mind practically thinks in terms of algorithms and structures to begin with. I don't know if it's a curse or a blessing though, but the condition has been a fact for as long as I can remember.

C++ is pretty nasty though, noone does that for fun. There's a number of different languages they could have taught you instead. I guess they just want you to have basic programming skills? Don't see why they would dump you in the ocean just to teach you to swim.

Last evening they recapped the Arezzo-Milan match on FSC. Some quality saves by Nelson "Dye-Duh" and a nice move by "Olive-ee-era" summed it up for me.

Dear President Castro, a recent year-end audit from the Royal Governmental Accounting Office in Haarlem has revealed that the kingdom only sent 59 buses to to Cuba in 2004, when the contract obligated us to send 60. Be assured that number 60 is being shipped presently. We apologize for any inconvenience, and wish you a swift recovery.

Your friends, the happy kingdom of the Netherlands.

I've always found it odd how New Orleans ever existed in the first place. Then again, when you mention such a thing, you're usually labelled anti-American on this forum :disagree:.

Yeah, like New Orleans is the only city below sea level? NO, you are not anti-American you are a racist. You are saying that it is not possible that a society of black people could exist below sea level for so long without white dudes blowing up the levees, right?:p :D :pumpkin:
