I'm watching Supersize Me at the moment and it's a good project IMO. I missed the beginning, but IIRC the point is the guy will eat fastfood for a month and see what the effects are. Now he also stops working out. Since he was training before, I don't see how the project is not affected by this. This way the effects become overrated, no? Were he eating fastfood for a month, but would still be training, his transformation would be dramatically less IMO.
I also disagree with the responsibility he puts with McDonald's. One of the arguments is that McDonald's are the only places with playgrounds, o they lure kids with them. Sure, good move by McDonald's, but shouldn't you ask yourself why they have to go there for playgrounds? Obesitas is a horrible problem and I, for one, don't show any mercy to someone stuffing himself.
By the way, apparently the fastfood sector is somewhat more "evolved" in America. We simply don't have all these sizes here. Dear god, they sell half of a gallon of coke to ONE person?
