Actually, I'm a big fan of Lebanese food. My old friend, Nazeera, introduced me to a lot of it a number of years ago: the maza staples of tahini, falafel, hummus, baba ghannouj, tibouli, kababs, etc. that are frequently associated well beyond Lebanon. But also batata harra, kafta, manaeesh with za'atar, mutabbel, some stuffed eggplant thing I forgot the name of, and finished always with an Arabic coffee with cardamom and a halva. :lick:
