TO NICK:

Defender Kakha Kaladze believes his former Milan team-mate Andrei Shevchenko made a serious misjudgement in joining Chelsea.

28-year-old Georgian international Kaladze was a target for The Blues 15 months ago, but the clubs failed to reach an agreement for his move to West London.

While Kaladze has reveled in his decision to remain in Italy, he believes Ukrainian international Shevchenko is already regretting his move after a slow start to his Stamford Bridge career.

The £30 million man has scored just once for the club since the season began, as Didier Drogba has stolen the plaudits for his goalscoring touch, and Kaladze feels for the 30-year-old frontman.

"It breaks my heart to see him playing the way he does now," Kaladze told the Sun.

"It is clear he is not expressing himself and that he has not settled into the Chelsea side."

Jose Mourinho's side sit pretty at the top of the table, but the Serie A man insists his old friend will be missing life in Serie A still because he has failed to acclimatise to The Premiership yet.

"We miss Shev now he has gone. But I am certain he misses playing for AC Milan one hell of a lot more. It seems that he has not got into Chelsea's way of playing," he added.

"I spoke with him before he took the final decision But I did not give him any advice. This is a personal matter where everybody has to act according to their own way of thinking."

Where are you at now Geof? Still on your trip?
I'm at home in Brussels now for two days, but I live in Berlin till end July. I'm studying there.

Incredible city Berlin, really. So interesting on a historical point of view, obviously, but it's also the border between West and East Europe, it's an extraodinary young city, with all the partying that implies. But also on a musical, artistic level the city has really amased me. I've only been there for a week, but I already like it.

The only bad thing is that I still haven't found a room to live in, but that's only a material formality.

No surprise..Sheva thought he was invincible and was on top of the soccer world. He didn't realize that Milan built a team around him for 6 years and that despite the talent at Chelsea there is no Pirlo and Kaka to feed him gems....
He figured everything he touched turned to Gold..

    too bad...so sad

    :agree:
his technical abilities r not enough.Chelsea's style of play dont suit him very much. Thats why Drogba seems like a world class player when hes not.Cuz of that air style of play that they use soo effectively.

That and people FAIL to realize what kind of combination Pirlo and Kaka can be for a striker...Many point to Chelsea and Barca as world class midfields but I still fail to see two playmakers on this calibre side by side

Gerrard and xabi alonso can be close to that good when they are on form or when Gerrard isn't stuck on the right flank. But Pirlo and Kaka are tops for now.

Damn. If I didn't know my euphemisms, I could have sworn you've discovered some method of self-gratification that I cannot biologically begin to imagine here. :smoke:

I've moved to Baltimore once. I had less shit to pack then. :)
I have bad memories of Baltimore...I took a cab to get to the ballgame and halfway there he told us it was going to be 120$ for the fare...I told him to stop the car and as I began to get out I noticed we were in a crack haven with the homeless, street thugs, store corner pimps and dealers quickly coming towards the cab and overhead "you lost something vanilla sundaes?" I shoved my friend back in the car and locked the door like a real shitless vanilla sundae
