Is this positive correlation?

As advertising increase, sales increase.

I tried looking it up online and got nothing and my fashion friends didn't help much.

In statistics, a correlation of 1 means two variables are perfectly correlated. As they increase towards 1, there is an increasing linear relationship. So yes, that is indeed a positive correlation by definition.

You're talking about economics?

That's a scientific term as well. Like I would say, "Figure 5 shows a positive correlation of sun and tree growth".

So I guess increasing sales as the result of increased advertisement would be a positive correlation.

If you're speaking of a specific economic rule, I have no idea. I haven't had an econ. class in four years.

Look at you Mr. Dictionary. Here's an interesting thought for you. Does correlation mean causation?

It's a pretty fun on going conversation in one of my classes.

OK, I came within 7 seconds of shitting my pants tonight. Good thing my ass found a toilet 'cause something like 14 pounds of shit left my body in 60 seconds.
Yummy.

Right. It's a fun debate. I think you would like the class.
The debates you're in do seem to be pretty cool.

But isn't that sort of intuitive though, your question? I just think of it as two stocks with the same correlation.

You have to look at it on a case by case basis. It's all about interpretation and presentation of information.

Alright, I love Mondays. I have a presentation on the History of the World Bank and the Grameen Bank. Then I have a two hour Forestry Exam. And somehow I have to find time to Moodle it up in between.
What?

I'll Moodle you right into the damn county jail.
Yea, Lisa hooked us up....

:D

Few people realize this, but the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" was actually about Akkhmedios.

To prepare for his role, Nicolas Cage apparently spent three months before filming living inside an Olive Garden.

Oh man, no way I would have made it if I had all that stuff to remove. Maybe I should carry my own Tim Horton's Coffee cans around in my briefcase, just in case.

Enron, did you happen to see that Senator (D) from Texas on MSNBC tonight who was being questioned by Chris Matthews? Chris asked him flat out... "what has Barack Obama accomplished in the Senate?" The Texas Senator couldn't even fathom an answer. Jesus Christ, it was UGLY.

I mean, if you're going to speak on cable television about the candidate you support, at least know a little something about him. But in all honesty, that guy seemed like an idiot anyway.
