Maybe he should.
You would be thrilled if that would ever happen, as should every Juventus fan if that pipe dream were to ever come to pass.

He is worshipped in this area as a fantastic owner. That's because he is. He loves his sports, and he loves to win more than anything, and has been able to do it while having a rock solid coaching and administrative staff, and with players who buy into the team concept

when there is nothing left to watch you mean :D

Did you ever whatch by chance that bold scarey man's show? (that's more feminine type I heard)
You mean Dr. Phil? Yeah, you could call him a bit gay. Considering his wife looks like a mean mean masculine midget. His advice might be okay, but can you really trust a guy who gets fucked by someone like that?

I suppose it's only logical Americans have taken an interest in the sport. I'm rather surprised it didn't happen sooner. I wonder how it will evolve over the next few years. Personally, I wouldn't like American domination in football. You can call me short sighted, but I'm all about tradition. I want to see Italy and Brazil dominating the game, not America and China. As far as I'm concerned: LEAVE MY GAME ALONE :D!

From another point of view I don't see what harm Becks can do for the MLS. It can only bring advantages. Though I think it would perhaps be a better option to concentrate on building world class players yourself, rather than getting them from Europe when they are, more or less, fin de carrière.

There's no difference in managing a football club, a baseball club or a basketbal club.
Well half of the football world, including all Manure supporters besides the American fans, thought it would be the death of Man United. But look where they are now and look where they are heading..

Just furthers my opinion that all Manure fans are idiots.

Perhaps I'm a bit naive in thinking this, but I always have more faith in established business men. European football clubs sometimes have these medieval structures with odd, almost insane chairmen who rule everything. Often this has lead to the incapacity of dealing with financial issues and it has destroyed many clubs. So when some guy, who knows how to do business, walks in and buys the club, I know he'll make it better.

You're right, there is no difference, as long as the ownership group knows what it takes to put a quality product on the field, it shouldn't matter what country they are from.

If a businessman is investing millions into a club, and has a grade A track record, I think it's rather apparent that he will indeed make it better. But Manure fans seemed to have a problem understanding this.

So I'm walking downtown to get a little lunch. I work only a block from the Moscone Conference Center, where right now Macworld is going on.

Man! What gives with those bearded, pot-bellied attendees?! It was like an army of Wozniak clones at that thing. Just crossing the street, I couldn't tell if it was an Alaskan ice fishing convention or the the annual SF Gay Bears conference.

Why, because he's American??
why would i care about his nationaly? i just dont like the notion of people making bussiness out of football. maybe im an old school guy but i love it when clubs are in touch with their roots. be it agnellis or morattis. its just beautiful. while americans glazers, russians abramovich's and lithuanian ivanovs at hearts just dont look right..

How's Manchester United doing this year under the tyrannical ownership of the "Evil American Yank Malcom Glazer" this year??
better than fc united obviously..

I wish I could find the thread that was started when Glazer bought the club, and the primary outrage over it was the fact that he's an American. Where are all those people now?? Nicole??? Hellooooooo, Nicole?????? Where U at???

Macworld, jeez I've heard a lot of creepy stories about that thing. Apparently a few Microsoft reps tend to turn out to "make friends" and end up getting lynched.

Fli you can no longer separate Business and Football anymore. as far as my rationale behind my comment, I apologize if I offended you in my reasoning that you would be opposed to a foreign entity owning Juventus based solely on Nationality

i know. but the less you mix them, the better it is. sure, man utd are flying high this season, and im even glad about that, finally someone is able to stop chelsea from winning. but that was the same case with hearts last year. when ivanov took over, fans were suspicious and outraged, then it seemed to bring results, ffs, they finnished ahead of rangers, and but then meddling with football began and know hearts are in the middle of nowhere, though looking at their squad they should be challenging celtic for the title imo. same can happen with man utd in the future.

while i know fuck all about this guy, sure he might be a great business man, but atm im completely happy with john elkann.
