You don't understand. We're the champions of the world, and one week on I just won't tire of repeating it to myself and to whoever is listening. I've been on seventh heaven for the first 3/4 days following July 9th, but now the feeling has been replaced by a tranquil yet more permanent sensation of genuine, fulfilling content. I had vowed to quit smoking had we won and so far I've managed to hold to my promise without any effort whatsoever. Everything goes easy, runs smooth like a military operation, or better yet like 11 Italians owning a lost for action Mannschaft in Dortmund. The satisfaction I get from seeing all my Tcherman, Ingerlunder and Français friends here in Brussels these days. The fatalism in their words ! The envy in their eyes! The failed attempts at taking the piss by reminding me how the serie A is in tatters ! Bwah !

One more time kidikins : ITALY ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD !!!
Good luck with your effort to quit smoking! :)

You'll have to abstain for at least 4 years and by then it might not even feel like much of a transition :D

@ Juve fans.

Sorry you guys got demoted. It seems to me a harsh decision. Don't fret for too long, as your team have the class to make it back to the top of Serie A in a few seasons. And chins up gents because it could be worse, at least your starting forwards aren't Craig Bellamy and Peter Crouch.

Thanks, Enron. Some punishment is definitely due, despite the number of innocent parties involved. The 30-point penalty is extra-harsh, but we're hoping (though not holding out) that it will be relaxed a touch in appeals.

But this is a chance for a clean break from all the bad things that have gone on before. May as well look for some positives in this very bad situation. And not just our forwards. ;)

After you take in all of this and you are feeling triumphant, I'll tell you what you are going to do, sit back in that soft hand-me-down $19.99 office max chair from 1992 and kick off your hand-made-by-chinese-children Mefisto brogans, throw your over-weight whiteboy legs up on your veneer encrusted desk, and pour yourself a long, tall, cool glass of SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Odd that, I rate Bellamy, though I'm not sure he's suitable for Liverpool. Is the Scouse opinion on him less than optimistic?
I can't speak for the Scouse, but I have a good opinion in general of Bellamy he is strong, determined and a hard worker. But honestly I don't see him and Crouch working too well together. He scored in his debut against Wrexham and did well playing with Idrizag and Fowler who assisted. In my opinion, if Liverpool is to stay with the Super teams in the Premiership we need striker with a little more explosion and ability. Someone who can put fear into the heart of John Terry, maybe a Fernando Torres or David Villa would be more suitable for our play. With*that said, I think the midfield will be looked at to fill the scoring charts with goals by guys like Gerrard, Gonzales, and Garcia. Bottomline, we need a better forward.
