I'm a little disappointed. I expected more Youri Mulder and Hugo Borst. Aad de Mos and Danny Blind are alright, but definitely not my first choice.

Still beats the matches show on RTL7, presented by that godawful Barbara Barend though. Not exactly a motivator to watch Ghana-USA instead of Italy-Czech Republic...

EDIT: Wait, you don't get RTL7 and the other commercial channels do you?
No I don't, thank god.

Yes, more Mulder and Borst would have been better. I'm a bit disappointed with Borst to be fair as well. He hasn't been very histerical so far. They should have thrown Van Gaal in :D.

USA got screwed today.........
We get screwed every game regardless of whether its a World Cup match or a Gold Cup match. For a team that plays in CONCACAF we should be used to getting crappy calls, we just didn't play well enough to get past the bad call. That said we did get screwed more harshly than usual.

how? i am curious
You simply don't want a World Cup to be held on a continent whose footballing nations were horrendous in the previous World Cup. And besides, the USA moving on to play Brazil, where we would be eliminated, would not generate as much interest as you expect. Having an African nation make waves in this tournament is only good for FIFA and their up coming 2010. Like I said, FIFA has survived without the US for years; I'm sure they can survive without us in the future.

Pippo should have scored two goals today if not hattrick, but who cares now that Italy are in the 2nd round....

I say Totti off to the bench Dp on to the pitch.

I've had enough of Francesco so far.

Yep, which is why this was a blatant fix.
