Me neither. Imagine if you posted in, say, a French forum Andy, would you want people suggesting to ban you because you didnt know how to say where you're from?

A number of people over the years have said that posting here has helped their English enormously. I've also found that some of those same people felt that their mediocre English was made less than welcome. I didn't, and don't, like to see that.
Well, if that is true, then so be it. Just get rid of these posters such as JuvetheBest and everything will be fine.

I wouldn't even sign up for a French forum to begin with.

So lets discuss a Spanish forum then...would I sign up for a Spanish forum with my limited knowledge of the language as it is? No! That would be a waste of time and no fun to take part in IMO. So to answer your question, no, I wouldn't feel bad at all. ;)

I know you're mostly kidding here, but I'd just like to point out that it's a bit different for us. Everything we might want to see on the internet is accessable in English, but that's not true of most smaller languages.

Well, that's actually a good point. With so many Juventus fans around the world and in several different countries, their options are limited.

It's not stupid at all. Why sign up for an English forum if you cannot even write where you're from in English?
Because this isn't an elitist forum with entry requirements, it's open to everyone.

I think its okay, I mean for example this sub-forum we are posting in, why not have a couple of topics where people can speak in the language they way, ie a Spanish one, Italian, Turkish, whatever it doesnt matter, I mean really what is it, an extra 4-5 threads in a forum that has really 1 thread and thats it? Or is it we just have to ban someone because there english isnt very good?

habla espanol thread went way too far.
That's the kind of thing I remember about foreign language threads. They were always chat threads for two or three fluent speakers already on the forum. In that sense, they served no purpose.

You shouldnt, its a great idea especially for fans that cant find places to talk abot Juve in their language
But it's not our aim to be that, we only aim to provide a place to talk about Juve in English. If you want to have a proper forum for another language you need moderators for it. There's also the question of language barriers and small communities forming which others can't participate in, which is another form of discrimination from that of not being a Juve fan or not speaking English well.
