Man I just feel it, this year we shall finally win the trophy back! GO LEAFS GO
Zizou a LEAFS FAN!!! I can't believe it. Seriously..how do you go from a winning team a team of "this is the year I feel it"!!!

What I love about Leafs fans (maybe not you Zizou) is how they look down at Habs fans when we won a Cup in 93..86 before that and endless ones in the 70's etc....
Where is this superiority from?!!!

Sundin I could live with but Tie Domi I absolutely HATE :yuck: Gainey should bring back Chris Nilan for one game for a good old fashioned 80's Habs-Nordiques style "ass whoppin" on Domi's arse!!!

Whatever Zizou...Good Luck...Leafs need it! ;)

When I went to watch Leafs games (btw how expensive are the tickets for hockey games?? cost me as much as the CL final just for one game which wasn`t even a playoff!), I always thought that Domi was the Davids of the Leafs. Some people love him, some people hate him.

What's funny was that when I was there, the Raptors were doing better than the Leafs, and the hockey fans were pissed off that a nely born franchise could win before they could and hated their guts :D

Loppan, very rarely do you see a foreign player excel in the playoffs, especially recently. It could be due to the fact that in the playoffs, the action is much more defensive and physical, and that doesn't suit a european's game too much.

The only notable exceptions lately have been Peter Forsberg, and Niklas Lidstrom.
Johan Hedberg when he played in Pittsburg

Johan Hedberg when he played in Pittsburg
That was one year, Loppan. That doesn't necesarily constitute a proven playoff performer.

Besides, the Goalie position is totally different than defensemen and forwards, anyway. The physicality of the playoffs has very little effect on a goalie.

When you look back on the last 10 years, really only Forsberg and Lidstrom have shone through.

Now, before that, you had players like Jari Kurri, Mats Naslund, Esa Tikkanen.

I should add Sergei Federov to the list, and I don't know why I forgot him.

The LA - Columbus match reminded me of this other game from around 4 years ago. It was a play-off match and the match ended i na draw, so they kept going and it actually ended at 2:30am in the morning  after about 4 or 5 O/T. I think it was Philadelphia vs Detroit? But I might be wrong.

Zambo..yes Brisebrois is still there. The only link from the 93 Cup winning squad. I can't stand him and I am a Habs fan..but we have to accept some things I guess.

Sergio: I finally saw clips from a Habs game today. 8-0 vs. Pittsburgh! Souray was playing like a real offensive D and Ryder WOW! It seemed like everything Souray touched made its way to goal. Shut out for Theo.

But to be fair Pittsburgh really seems to be in trouble..last place if I'm not mistaken!
