My Penguins have the fewest points in the NHL. If they stave off bankruptcy it will be like making the playoffs. Sad times for a good organization

I think they'll get through this crisis. What I don't like, is the way that they are jerking around with Marc Andre Fleury, the #1 pick from last year. They signed him to a deal that was contingent upon him receiving a 3 million dollar bonus for reaching certain incentives, and now it looks like they are purposely not playing him, despite the fact that at 18, he is probably their best player, and the ONLY player that can put people in the seats right now.

Besides, look on the bright side. IF there was any year for the Penguins to have the worst record, this would be it. The consensus #1 pick this year is a forward from Russia by the name of Alexander Ovechkin, and he's already much further ahead of the scale at his age than when Ilya Kovalchuk was his age, who was the #1 pick 2 years ago.

yeah, Jagr hasn't been so good.....Robert Lang has done pretty well-it's the shitty defense plus the fact tha Kolzig is having a really sub-par season :(

Jarg sux since he joined the capitals...
That's because he's not getting the 30 minutes per game of ice time that he got with pittsburgh. When he was there, he had other players like Recchi, Francis, Samuelsson who could hide his defensive deficincies.

That's not the case in washington, and the coach won't put him out there if he can't play at least lome passable defense.

Brought to you courtesy of Sergio, your source for hockey knowledge!!!:D:D

Hey Sid Vicious, since you have not seen the Caps or the Ducks play, then perhaps there is time to convince you to become a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins? My number 1 selling point: Clearly the worst team in the NHL

No the reason you should be a pittsburgh fan is that they have a long history, a really cool logo and Mario Lemieux.
