I was trying to tell you guys last summer but got bashed for it like I always do and everyone was OK with him leaving except for me. I could see his talent clear as day in the friendlies last summer...ugh this is frustrating. I'm mad now.
1) We don't actually know how much we have to spend, do we?
2) De Ceglie should be 2nd choice, at best. We shuldn't go into a new season hoping that he can play how did for a total 3 of 4 games out of his whole career, for the whole season. Either way, we'd need a 2nd LB if he was the 1st choice.
3) With Momo leaving, we'd need a new DM (no, not Ekdal or Marrone, we wanna finish top 3)
4) The signings of Pepe, Quag, Aqua, Matri will be costly. If we don't sign Pepe, we'll need a new sub RM. And a new LM because hopefully, the new coach doesn't see Marchisio as one. Giovinco, don't get your hopes up.
5) We still have at least 4 forward almost certainly here next season- DP, Quag, Matri, Toni. Then we might be stuck with Iaq and Amauri. Add Neymar (yeah, right) and we could have 5-7 forwards.

Oh, ok thank you. I remember liking him in every single game I saw him play, his style is good. At least he's doing well for Siena.

1.) I think the BOD knows they need to spend now, no other way we will be able to keep up with the top four because God knows they will all be buying this summer with a CL checkbook. We need to spend to keep up, NO OTHER WAY AROUND IT.
2.) Ziegler...problem fixed for free AND DC as back up.
3.) Momo never plays anyways man, so whether Marrone or Ekdal come back is fine with me because they are decent young talents whom shouldn't have left in the first place. I think its also pretty clear that we could bring Gio back or us his other 50 percent in a player trade to fill in a position for back up. If Parma get relegated then that opens up another door. And as you said, if a new coach doesn't see Marchisio as a RM then there is our CM solution filled, regardless of whether ekdal or marrone come back. We don't need another DM.
4.) Keep Quag and Aquilani, let Quag and Pepe go unless we get a HUGE discount. Neymar will be our "Quag" position filled.
5.) You can't be sure that our board will buy Quag and if we have a chance at getting Neymar then they should send Quag back to Napoli with a fruit basket. Neymar, DP, Matri, and Toni with Amauri/IQ packing their bags indefinitely. I don't see the problem.

3.) No, but you get us Beck, Ziegler and Neymar you will see a whole host of different results.
4.) Bring back Pasquato as well for LM backup.
5.) Neymar will be better than Quag, hands down.
Remember, who the hell knows what formation we will play next year...the good thing about Neymar is he can play in all of them, he isn't limited.
