ronaldo is unique...nobody will be the same like him...the best striker i saw...i soo wanted to do the triple and join us too :D but nobody is comparing neymar to him..atm neymar is nothing, just the biggest talent in brazil.
I agree
As for the Robinho-Neymar comparision there is another thing that needed to be taken into consideration.
Robinho did things more for fun than to score/assist. Neymar is more effective than Robinho has ever been

I think if u can get him for 40M, that's great business. This kid is unique. The only other player who could rival Ronaldo + Messi.

But unfortunately, if Madrid/Barca can't get him, no other team in the world can.

comparing neymar to robinho isnt totally wrong, people used to say the exact same things about robinho when he played for santos (like he would soon be the best in the world). neymar is better, he already won copa libertadores and had amazing performances, but he needs to prove that he can be on the same level of the top players people like to compare him with.
many games against santos rivals he havent done much, the same happened on his hardest challenge, against barcelona. and you cant say he has been brilliant on brazil nt.
he's the best brazilian player right now, but in one of the worst brazilian generations ever.

Horse hair isn't coming to Juventus. There is more chance of Christ himself resurrecting through the penalty spot as Pepe is about to score the scudetto-clinching goal than there is of Neymar joining.

If we win the scudetto, it will be pepe scoring a massive fluke that will look totally brilliant tho.

But yeah, lets close this topic, its in the wrong section, as he will never be a target for us

if its not closed fast, i'll force myself to post gay porn on other accounds on diffrent ip's, untill mods close it

I'd love Neymar here, but there's more of a chance that Boriello will score 20 goals in the last 7 games of the league.

Why are Brazilian players still being overrated? Their best player right now is probably Kaka ffs and he's been playing for a really long time. After him, Brazil stopped making attacking talents like they used to. I wonder what it is,they went from the magic of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Rivaldo to Robinho

Cycles of talent.

Italy had Del Piero, Totti, Nesta, Canavaro, Pirlo, Baggio, Maldini, Vieri, Baresi, Zoff, Buffon
Now they have, Cassano, Rossi, Balotelli, Chiellini...Giovinco?

None of those players compare to the older ones, but one day Italy will start producing better talent - just like Brazil.
Leali, Curti, Santon, Marrone, Verratti, Insigne, Destro, Gabbiadini, Balotelli, Giovinco, Rossi - Italy is starting to produce more, but they're not top-notch yet.

Germany, Spain, and Argentina are right now producing great talent.

Rossi's not Italian but yeah, none of hte guys you mentioned have shown signs of being as good as the old generation. Youngsters are always overhyped. If they were really good they'd already be killing it in Serie A.

My point still stands, why are Brazilian players being overhyped without having proven anything, especially considering they haven't brought up any good players in a while.

I got no clue. Neymar gets a lot of attention because he's a show pony.
Lucas & Ganso are getting a lot of attention too but they haven't achieved anything yet.

That's Hardly the truth !

The man isn't just a show pony, I've been watching the Brazilian league for quiet some time now and almost every single time neymar would get the ball he would rape the opposition defense and either create a chance or score the goal himself.

And the Brazilian league isn't as crap as you guys describe it, the league have improved "alot" in recent years. This whole Brazilian league Sh.t myth reminds me of how people (specially serie A fans) still think that Italian teams defenses are great, when they are clearly are not at the moment !!

By the way, you guys really underrate Robinho and seems to forget what he was like when he was with Madrid. He used to constantly save their as.s week in week out back then, that was at the time when they had the biggest talents in Europe playing for them, plus he's incredible performance in Coppa America back in 2007 when he literary carried the Brazilian NT to the final and won them that title.

Robinho had a huge drop of form just like Adriano and Ronaldinho ( who went from being the best player in the world to pretty much nothing in just 1 year). All those guys were huge talents but a shit professionals and that's what screw them up. But still that doesn't take away the fact that they all were great talents.

I know Neymar has serious talent and skills. He's a great player, but to be compared to Messi while he hasn't proved anything in Europe is a bit too much if you ask me.

Nonetheless, Neymar come to Juve.

I`d welcome Neymar but I rather see our team strengthen as much as possible and I`m not sure that spending all our budget on 1 player is the way to do it

There's nothing more stupid than saying that the kid does what he does because Brazilian league is shitty.

It definitely isn't. The most talented Brazilian players are playing here right now, and even though this isn't the best generation, Brazil still produces a lot of good players. And the clubs have the money to retain them.

Another point: we're talking about a country which is 5 times Champion of the World. How can people treat the league in such disrespect?

I'd rate it as the 4th best league in the world, along with Bundesliga.

Neymar is 20 now and already has scored more 100 goals in his career. For the NT, he's already the most important player (for sometime now) and scores 1 out of every 2 games. He was decisive winning Copa Libertadores for Santos, which is a very tough competition. He's NOT a show poney, he's not hype. He is truly amazing, and I wish he could go to Juve... Paying 40/45M for him would be good business, as he's unique, very healthy (he never gets injured), humble and young. Unfortunately, that's just not happening.
