Is it true that American citizens can't actually elect the President? They vote intermediate electors who pledge to vote for a particular presidential candidate but the electors are not bound by law to follow their pledge. An elector who pledged to vote for Hillary might lolgtfo and vote Jeb Bush and it would be legal

It's a genius and extremely efficient business model and it's really stupid to go on a strike against that. I want the service that I get to be as fast and cheap as possible, Uber gives me that. If governments had banned every smart superior idea to support the inefficient inferior ones, most of what we are conveniently using today wouldn't have existed.

uber are ripping off their drivers, there is nothing superior in that unless you are uber CEO.

But I agree, going on strike is stupid considering the classic taxi drivers have far far better conditions. In Germany at least
