Anyway, the server is up and running and I actually got a Intel® Core™ i7-930 installed instead of a i7-920 (2.8 Ghz instead of 2.67 Ghz). Can't complain

Migration will be done sometime soon, I'm currently securing the server.

Indeed. I'm cancelling the old server but unfortunately that's under contract until sep 2011 so I'll have to keep paying for that until then, guess I'll keep it as a backup server for now.

Also the monthly costs are higher for this server but it will be worth it.

Wouldn't it be better to take the forum offline and THEN syncing the servers so that there's no missing posts like the last time?

No. Not only that, the heating bill will be cheaper since it will generate enough heat to warm a small village.
