It does indeed take years to establish a brand to that level

So better start now than in 30 years time when we desperately need to, no?

If the argument is this move was stupid because the J brand means nothing yet, well no shit. Nike meant fuck all 10 years before it existed.

at first i hated it.. but then after some thoughts.. i think this is a great move by Juve.. After Juve got relegated and then the next generation of Agnelli took over the management back. I must say Juve had been very revolutionary and innovative - The stadium, the continassa project, the social media marketing and many more..

Now we're rebranding to more 'millennials-friendly' brand, i think this will also going to be another revolutionary move by Juve.
I know changes are hard to swallow for the old-timer fans, but this will potentially brings new fans in to the club.

Well done Juve!

If we are willing to go all the way and don't pussy out after 5 years or so, with millions already spent, i'm all for it.
But even then we need a huge amount of luck to reach nike/adidas level of fame.

Yeah I don't know we'll ever get to that level, at the end of the day it's still branching off of Juve whereas Nike, Adidas whatever can get involved in everything sports wise. We can't overlap too much.

But if it is a side project that can seriously increase our revenue, with people spending on J fashion, going to J hotels, maybe even J casino or who knows wtf we have in 20 years time then fantastic.

Stadium has to remain J stadium, and it's surely why we have made no moves to sell the naming rights.

Would be a bit weird doing this, opening up 'J' everything and our own stadium is called something random.

I know it's all fun and games with the people who think it's easy to make such a logo (or at least I hope so), but slightly refreshening our current logo would have been much easier and less time consuming than pretty much making a completely new one.

Folks like @PedroFlu also don't believe in evolution, dinosaurs, the solar system or other concepts that stretch beyond their localized consciousnesses and level of understanding

Brilliant stuff really

Logos are very much about personal taste, the idea behind this logo wasn't just to make a cool juve logo that fans will jizz over. Any 16 year old kid with some software could produce 400 templates to pick from. They don't care about that.

It's about making something recognisable, and simple.

When I see these fan made edits where they add in like 4 different things to the new logo it pisses me off, that's not the point.

Unfortunately, small-minded dumb people don't understand the purpose nor the route taken

They want to see tri-color w/ crowns and horseys and stars so that they feel good inside and it keeps the clubs identity intact for the ages

So true

Same people will be celebrating our increased revenues leading to bigger purchases in the future if this strategy pays off, and probably won't even realise that this moment had everything to do with it.

Fapping over a world class midfielder on one hand, still bitching about how our tradition somehow died with our latest badge change on the other.

What do you mean? We have sold the naming right to sportfive for 75mln.

That's so edgy and cool, somebody should do one with a swastika for the Nike swoosh to prove how shit that is too.

It's still called Juventus stadium though, pretty sure that paltry deal was more to do with promotions within the stadium and marketing within the stadium. I mean that we're not going to rename our stadium after this stunt. It would be a bit damaging to the cause.
