Vecchia signora is the worst group to ask. These are people like badass who will wear jerseys all time. No offence but the other 90% of juve fans probably cant.
People at 30(me), 40(jack), 50(salvo's dad) dont play football and wear other stuff. Jack wears specialised runner clothes, i wear cotton based clothing from our sponser.
Not really spending 70 bucks on a jersey or training shirt that i cant use for front squats cause cant chalk it, will tear eventually during back squats, will tear between my buckle belt during deadlifting.

But i like juve stuff. I have a juve cotton shirt, but itis has the original logo on and juventus in white on white.
I wore it to school.

Give me proper clothing for an adult, and ill buy it

You get it
The club can use this brand without changing the emblem, that's what I'm saying.

The level of intelligence displayed by certain members over what is a big, positive step forward for the club is truly baffling, hilarious, and sad all at the same damn time.

The main point to me is that this is a relevant modification
It's a bigger change than it seems imo.
Deductive reasoning kicking in or does is it the old adage of "even a broken clock is right twice a day?"

and that supporters/associates should have a say about it before it happened.
 please take me with you to this fantasy land you live in where multi-milllion $$ enterprises ask their customers about key roadmap decisions

It was kind of brutally imposed, and some may feel disrespected about it.
So brutal, no lube

straight up brazzers

People don't even have to follow the club to buy gear. If you're looking for a gift for your nephew and you see a cool looking black football with the Jj logo, or a lame red ball with just Nike on it, god chance you'd go for the better looking ball.
i can definitely see myself in a flawless all black new era J hat

If we are willing to go all the way and don't pussy out after 5 years or so, with millions already spent, i'm all for it.
But even then we need a huge amount of luck to reach nike/adidas level of fame.
:agree: You also need to remember that a lot of people don't want to buy Nike/Adidas any more, drink Starbucks, or sport an I Phone because of the negative media exposure that has highlighted illicit and questionable practices they have been engaged in over the years. Some people would rather go for something new and less commercial. The Juve brand is currently that, and can become a viable alternative in 20 years or so. At least I hope it does :D

You mentioned THE original club crest, no pattern no nothing.
Sorry. Allow me to clarify. The club crest that has evolved over the years always contained certain elements. The new logo has grown on me over the past couple of days, but I'd still like us to keep the previous one for match day jerseys. We shouldn't discard it entirely.

Next step. Get some famous people to start wearing our merchandise. Let Instagram & twitter take it from there.

With the right type of hype and marketing , people will buy our stuff. People always buy into the hype. We do not have to compete with Nike or Adidas as that's impossible to even begin with. Juve management are not that stupid to release their stuff in direct competition with other sporting brands whether it's now or the future. That's thinking way too far imo.

I'm pretty sure this change will be a commercial success but imagining a possibility of Juve launching its own clothing brand as a parallel business in competition with others a bit far-fetched to me at this point.

We need one logo for everything. Universally recognised J logo if we want to mint money.

Think of Juve as a company rather than a football team when talking in business terms.

i'm desperate for a slick looking Polo, and i will most definatly get one if we make it like that
:agree:

And I'll feel so good wearing that for work.

Oh I'm sure that would happen no doubt. We could see some insane marketing by a year or two.

Another wonderful, myopic post

Localized thinking as it gets. You obviously do not grasp the concept, goal of globalization and the acquisition of new diverse supporters that 'support' in more ways than filling the curva.

All moves that person/business makes is a risk. The fact that you continue to feel that the change is not right is indication of your limited knowledge and understanding. Perhaps you should only stick to watching old matches of squads that make you feel reminiscent of a "simpler, better time" when 40+ yr old italian men sat in the stands and cheered on the club.

Yes, you're right. This has the potential to end horribly. It might end up in the club dissolving and a nuclear winter to follow. I fear the worst for the 40+ year old italians the most

Now run home and get your shinebox
Your posts have been killing me lately

Loving the "simpler times" line, fucking brilliant ::lol3::

I think you must have played little football in your life, because in Belgium there are plenty of people playing football at 30, 40 and 50. Hell, there are even lots of 60 year olds playing the game. There are many, many veteran leagues. And I don't really consider 30 to be veteran tbh.

But you're right in it being a completely wrong kind of shirt to wear for most other forms of training. That's why it's a football shirt after all I guess.

My dad loves it and he is a 40 plus Sicilian man, then again he has seen quite a few logo changes. What was interesting is that he noticed most of the details straight away, the half scudetto for example. Look how much people are talking about Juve right now, there's a mystery about it. Curiosity.
There is, but the business set up is quite clear cut. The only thing that has me intrigued is that people are saying we might produce our own shirts, that would be very interesting.

Jesus, judaism, Jack from the Knave facecard, were too fierce of a competition and thats we prefered to compete with the Swedish jj band, instead...

hmm, could still be a hiiden message, JoungerJuve, JewishJuve, pJanic'sJuve, Jianniagnelli'sJuve, JaguarJuve, JihadJuve...
must be this, what do you think @Turk_Bianconero?
