I hope you're all right about the BT thing for Juve games, etc. Unlike a lot of the content providers who find good reason to legally shut down BT seed sites, the resale market for post-match video is limited at best. The best example I can think of for that market is the cable pay-per-view providers, who might take issue. But that's almost exclusively for big-ticket matches.

But otherwise most sporting events, like TV news, is hardly an asset of real commercial value once the fans have gone home, the scores and post-game analysis has been posted, and the milanistas are on their second box of Kleenex. :sob: :D

Well, I'm not worried at all. If it was full matches, then that would be another story. I'm thinking goal clips, not full game captures. There's no way these stations will come after us for posting those. :) I'll look into the options.

Anyway, it's still just a plan and nothing decided. Stay tuned. :p

Ooh, I'm not so sure about this one.. What with all the piracy crackdowns on all the torrents especially, recently.. And you know that most of the files distributed would be copyrighted.. I'd hate for Juventuz to be closed down for something like that..
hosting .torrent files are not illegal in sweden, just check out piratbay.inc.se that is runned by a lawyer and some tard.

Look at this one :)

Well, if it's hosted in Sweden, then that's another case.. :D Nice link pecker, btw.. ;)

Just make sure the hosting isn't in Holland.. (no offence to Erik, and co. :D), it's just that that's the primary country for torrent crackdowns..

I know torrents are completely legal if the server is in Sweden. However, the server will be in Germany. :(
Simple solution: Move it to Sweden.. :p j/k ..

Maybe someone in here from Sweden would be willing to host the torrents on their computer/server...? A very generous, kind, and loving person? :D

Great Nawaf, i was just about to sudjest that and now I look like a complete suck up. :irritate::D

Seriously, its just the .torrent files right? They are what, 0.5-1 mb? I'd host as long as it doesn't interfare with my dangerous amount of obsessive gaming. ;)

:D

They won't interfere.. You'd just need to have the torrent program running, so people can download..
wouldn't interfere with your games one bit.. ;)

A program huh? That could be a problem since its actually my brothers server and it got Linux all over it which is an OS we know nothing about. He's currently on a sailing trip but I'll ask him about it as soon as he gets back.

There's gotta be a linux version of this software around.. It's not like it's harmful, or anything.. :D

Na we bother people doing the work for us. :D Though having someone come over to fix so we can host torrent files for juventuz.com feels like a longshot, though I'll try. ;)

It is? Oh, I didn't know that... Why does that make perfect sense? :D
