    The Passat is a great car, but you're a college student! No offense, but if you can afford something in that price range, why didn't you go for anything sporty/convertable. Something you can fix-up and pimp-up! Something you can take to on a road trip to Florida or something..

    You're like a lot of my friends in highschool.. All they wanted was cars like Lexus GS300, BMW 5 Series, Jaguar X-type....etc... Eventually, most of them ended up getting sportier cars after those cars..

    Its not a new Passat man, its only a 2001. I got it used for a good price, and the car was in pristine condition. If I had $30,000 to spend on a car, of course I wouldn't have bought a VW Passat. Yes, I am a college student, thats why I bought a used car.
