Ibarra is a very interesting player, but he's 30, and Trabelsi is free so I'd go for the latter.

I'm starting to think we might be better of with 2 good cb's and two attacking fullbacks.
Yes an entire new defensive backline is risky though, but i would like the following formation for next year:

I like it Dom, but as always, I'll fiddle around with your formation As unorthodox as it sounds not playing Tacchinardi or Appiah, I'd put Mexes in DM and Nedved at LM, sign a decent attacking mid and put him behind MICCOLI and Gilardino

Sure this formation is good, but i wouldn't give Maresca those defensive duties. He's okay at going back, but he should have more of a free role on the left and cut in. Tacchi should just stay in the middle and defend with Evra and Trabelsi also attacking.

Miccoli or Ale' just as hard as always to choose one of them.

Yeah, I agree that it's a bit risky giving Maresca the sole DM duties, which is why I said it's unorthodox. I'd like to see it tried though, and I've never been a huge fan of Tacchinardi or Appiah
