Little worrisome, like the Greek mythology of the trojan horse entering troy. If not, what do they expect in return? I wouldn’t get too wrapped around it, time will tell. Roughly 40 year old plane for Air Force one, don’t know why it hadn’t been upgraded or replaced by now.
I'm encouraged that you see it that way.
I'm not sure Laura Loomer understands Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the U.S. Constitution. Even if she doesn't, that total whack job at least understands the moral hazard of accepting lavish gifts from what are essentially foreign agents: for the security of what is given, for the influence and expectation for which it establishes, for the role modeling of behavior for what's acceptable for everyone else who holds a governmental office.
This is exactly the sort of thing Sen. Paul Wellstone pointed out about the problematic hypocrisy of office and its slippery slope.
Of course Trump is probably illiterate but most definitely ethically autistic.
Trump could do better by buying American and ensuring only his spies can scour every inch of the plane as it's built.
The 40-year thing doesn't concern me as much, as we can't build crap that lasts anymore. Hence why the U.S. Air Force best bomber option is still the 71-year-old B-52.
