Why is he always bringing up Starlink? Starlink is a product on the market that they purchased and that's it.
Has it ever worked or have people received services? I remember a bunch of trolls sleeping on Starlink and dreaming of getting free internet, which never happened in Iran. I said because Musk promised to active starlink for people inside Iran!

Just a quick question as I'd (perhaps wrongly) consider you more conservative leaning: did you expect Trump's and Musk's aggressiveness in dismantling entire government branches and what is your opinion on it?
I did expect it tbh both are very vindictive individuals. The govt apparatus was a big hinderance to Trump's efforts to enact his policies in his first term and I'm sure musk has his axes to grind too.

While it's hard to argue govt bloat and I do personally think we could do away with a lot govt agencies, I still don't think we should run govt like we would a business. Or that we should play favorites(israel).

Take H1B for example, from a business standpoint it does make sense, you bring in a quasi slave class that is for the most past technically apt. But you fail to take into account the cultural, social, and inflationary impact of this move and how it affects native populations.

So for me, I will give trump the benefit of the doubt for now and i will judge him once the dust settles and we get a good sense of what has been accomplished. And I know that's hard to do for a neutral, considering all the vitriol and histrionics.

I still remember Trump fans talking about how great he was for their 401Ks in his first term. They have gone completely silent on this in Trump 2.0.

It’s pretty obvious what’s happening here. A massive wealth transfer from the middle class (and any poors who can afford to invest a little) to the rich. Trump and his billionaire buddies tank the market, the average person panic sells on the way down to preserve capital, and the wealthy buy it all at bottom and aside from the lucky few market timers who guessed right, everyone else gets financially wrecked.

Trump admin is revoking the green card of someone who spoke out against the Israel war on Palestine. More of that to come most likely.

Goodbye freedom of speech. Any protest can be deemed illegal in the blink of an eye and speaking out against Israel is called terrorism

@Nomuken at least no one will be allowed to hate the Jews anymore
