I understand the lobbying efforts of Israel in the US and maybe even evangelicals obsessed with the end of times fuelling the support. But I don’t think those things alone explain the outsized support they receive from the US government regardless of who’s in power. I’m always perplexed by the unwavering support they receive. Other countries do it too, but not at the level the US does.
