The migration problem, the debacle in Afghanistan, the trans madness in some cases, not being open about Biden’s mental health, you can fill the rest in you guys live there.
Those are all basically non-issues though, other than migration. But even that is blown out of proportion. The rest are just right wing talking points that normal people don’t really care about. Of course they are going to protect the standing president, why is that such a surprise?

I find it a wee bit hilarious when right wing folk talk about Biden’s mental health while completely ignoring that Trump sounds like a deranged old lunatic with dementia. The guy mixes up names, places, words at least as often as sleepy Joe.

And that’s why y’all need a third party. A centre of the spectrum party. There’s a middle ground here with both sensible and smart economic policy and not batshit crazy social policy.

I don’t think it is very likely, as Trump is pretty much guaranteed to get 45%+ of the vote, but my hope would be MAGA gets absolutely slaughtered in this election and the GOP splinters into two separate parties. A far right MAGA party that takes all the cultists along for the ride. And a centrist party of moderate republicans that will also pull the moderate democrats away too.

That would be the ideal, though I doubt it happens.
Third parties can only work in a parliamentary system where you can form coalitions. In a winner take all presidential system it doesn't really work.

The real "MAGA" people are truly cultists. Whenever you see these people, they're part of the Murican spectrum of poorly educated, angry, lower income people who think the Democrats have stolen their livelihood. Whenever you see someone wearing a MAGA hat, chances are they just hate the world. Those in my area are always white, generally fat, ugly people. Just like Catturd2. They wouldn't have any futures regardless of who was in office.

Then you have upper middle class people who make good money, don't want a lot of regulations, perhaps own their own business, and simply want a good economy. They probably won't tell you they're MAGA because they don't want to associate themselves with the losers above, but they might still vote for Trump because the Dems have truly horrible economic policies. They really suck in that regard.

Lastly, some rich elite people will definitely vote Trump since he will obviously lower taxes and push asset values higher by whatever means necessary. Inflation is actually a good thing for them. A deflationary environment is never good for people who own all the assets, so that makes sense to me why some would vote for Trump.

If you're gay or a woman, I have no idea why you would vote for him and his supporters. They hate you and want to take your rights away. The poor fat ones that is.
I don't even have to go that far with it. Whenever someone turns their X profile page into Trump getting shot bumper stickers and starts spouting off in all caps about how "THE LAHINA PEEPLE GOT BURNED OUT BY THERE OWN GOVNMENT BECUZ WE SAW THOSE LASERS ON TV AND WE KNOW THERE ARE REAL..." I just see a 4chan joke that's not funny anymore. Because mental illness that turns someone towards conspiracies and hatred is not funny.

Part of me hopes they are all just Russian bots trying to pull a fast one on humanity. Because the thought of an infiltrating Russian Ops program is actually far more comforting than to believe real humans are that mentally damaged and spewing all that insanity and vitriol everywhere in society.

A few days ago he wore a maga hat, now he's seen carrying a red hat. He's clearly trolling.
It's not a bad theory. That would be very Dark Brandon though. He's just not the type, given that he is one of the last of the old school conciliatory politicians left of a dying breed in American politics.

He's not the type to do what? Fuck with people who just coup'ed him or be closer ideologically to a trump than the purple haired brigade propping up the cackler?

The type to at least feign to be in favor of a collective both-sides America guy. His and McCain’s ilk are anathema today.

And I don’t buy for a minute that an 81 year old suddenly learns how to be a trolling cynic. That’s heavy on the projection.

His and mccains ilk? One a notorious gaffe collecting kkk sympatizing buffoon, the other a neocon to the core, sounds pretty unifying

You dont buy for a minute a guy being mad he was the victim of a palace coup, but you do buy we are all projecting when the very same guy wears a maga hat then a few days later dangles a red hat for no apparent reason, it's not like optics are important or anything.

The guy surely isn't happy about being pushed aside. But the reality is he he had no business running, had no chance of winning, the US didn't need a Feinstein in Chief, and he should have stepped aside for reelection last year.

Being cynical and trolling his VP's campaign seems well out of character for him. Playing around as a senile 81-year-old on his last victory lap is one thing. But not everyone is naturally as cynical as they might be themselves.

Andries believed Tifoso Lou was a pedophile as no one can genuinely be that friendly without something they're hiding. I get where that cynicism comes from. But I've also met people who, despite the personal demons everyone has, are generally optimists who are oriented to always trying to help.

And I will go out on a limb and still claim that Andries was more wrong about Tifoso Lou than right, given my offline exchanges. Dark Brandon is a joke because Biden's dark side is simpdom, really.

One of the odder things about this whole replacement theory with immigration isn’t just that people believe “freedom” entitles them to a right to determine who can live near them and what god they worship, which is pretty totalitarian in its own right.

It’s that somehow the victimization entitlement of unemployed, drug-addled white people is somehow better than the victimization entitlement of unemployed, drug-addled “woke” minorities.

Really, how different is any of this from:
* Pizzagate, claiming there was a cannibal pedophile cabal drinking children's blood in the basement of Comet Ping Pong
* Redlining mindsets that kept those culturally bad darkies from moving in to my whitey neighborhood

The whole thing about whether they are legal or not is just a veneer for good old fashioned tribal racism. Some things never fall out of fashion.

immigrants eating pets is a hilarious hill to stand on. And the fact it’s backed by all republican higher ups makes it even more so.

Jeez, can't survive 2 minute interview without unwittingly admitting he is lying, and this is who is supposed to the be VP to an already beyond moronic presidential candidate?
