Obama is in a league of his own but let's not get ridiculous and lump Harris and Trump in the same category. Trump is his very own special kind of stupid, at this point.
Trump has always been stupid.

But now he's borderline senile and everything looks a lot worse, simply because his supporters start to see him through a different lens.

Mostly I think it's over for him because media outlets use every chance they get to say 'hey, look at this stupid old dude'. Once that ball gets rolling in the mainstream press, it's impossible to stop it.

Apart from Trump's performance though I don't think Harris is a charismatic speaker at all.

RFK jr is reportedly going to drop out on Friday and endorse Trump. Looks like he approached both campaigns in the hope of getting a future cabinet position and only Trump campaign responded.
I wonder what that position will be but it’s hilariously similar to the last season of Succession.

Quoted for truth.

So his vice presidential candidate stopped writing checks and now he's panhandling for a job. All things considered, the Kennedy family has done far worse things I guess.

But I say Trump makes him the head of the NIH.

I thought the Republicans wanted to make their ticket less weird?

He ran as a Democrat first and now he's endorsing a Republican. Interesting, you would think you'll be closer to a Democrat if you run as one. Not a spoiler candidate at all, too bad it backfired on them

Why do you support Trump?
That’s why.

He is the only option, if there was a solid democratic candidate a real one I would consider.

Kamala is very weak leader and doesn’t know what she’s doing. Can’t wait until the first debate.

These past 4 years have not been the best and she’s been in office in that time.

No wars, inflation wasn’t out of control, and house rates were low.

They panicked and pulled Kamala out of there ass last minute like brining in Kulalu or Cabal.

You support Trump, because he almost got shot?

How does this imply his policy will benefit you?

I bet you thought he would come up with some ridiculous, childish reason for supporting Trump. The joke's on you now ...
I asked, because I think in 2016 and to a lesser extent 2020 a lot of Trump's voters saw the potential for immediate personal gain with him as president. Mostly through job creation or tax cuts.

This time around I don't hear many voters say similar things. It's mostly vague stuff like being against communism or wanting a 'strong' leader.

What I'm trying to say is that before Trump seemed to have voters who voted for him because of pragmatic reasons. I wonder if he still has those now.
