instead of worrying about the base in friendly states or fight for electoral votes in places like Georgia and Arizona, politicians would have to speak to a wider demographic. I also think you’d see and uptick in voter participation, especially liberal folks living in red states and conservatives living in blue states since a national popular vote means everyone’s votes count.
Bingo. There are many things we could do to work towards these results, so naturally none of them will happen.

So Trump and Vance are basically calling Kamala and black reporters the N word now.

What a stupid strategy. They already have their racist base votes, which is basically all far white Christians, or in other words low IQ dipshits, so why let it all hang out?

These turds are taking us back decades.

You think so? I’m still in “the economy, stupid” camp.
Well seeing as the whole kamala pick was to get women vote en masse, i think abortion trumps economy for that gender. Trump might score better with minorities this time around because of the economy, but i dont see it as the determining factor, or not as important as getting more whites to go out and vote.

I think at this point both parties are more focused on turn out than swing votes. This is the most identity based election ever imo
It is.

It's also why I believe Vance was a horrendous choice. Republican voters accepted Trump and I think a lot of them saw him as over the top, but kept somewhat in check by the party as a whole.

With Vance it's sheer insanity. It's one thing to vote for Trump because you feel his strong image might be beneficial for the American academy. It becomes something else when his VP has ideas that were considered backwards in the 18th century and doubles down on every stupid thing Trump says or does.

Whatever goes on in their heads, a lot of Republics are fundamentally decent people who are probably glad that on January 6 there was someone like Pence who apparently did have moral fibre when it really mattered. Vance would have wanted to see the world burn. People don't want that kind of crazy.

Any examples? Not shocked about Trump, but kinda funny if Vance who is basically a nobody elevated fast, goes down this road. He already feels like he just cos playing as a MAGA tard.

Well the same thing was said in 2016 but ultimately democrats underperforming in midwest was because of economic anxiety and also immigration.

Holy lol where does he find these clowns?

This Obama birtherism rehashed by Trumps camp. Like campaigning on pure unfiltered loud noise racist othering.

But they being more overt and open in rhetoric with Harris, because thats how bad the current social climate has become.

Apparently the concept of being mixed is alien to racists. How can she claimed to be Indian? Because her mother is. How come she claimed after she is black? Because her father is black Jamaican.

Mind blowing concept for bigots.

P.S English is her first language and she still said "who my roots are"?
