I dunno. Yeah, she's sabotaging her own greater cause from within. But isn't this what representational politics should be about though?
Like they say: MLK needed his Malcom X to make him seem more moderate. But if a rabid woman has to be the lone voice for a pet cause for where she is more deeply aligned with, and her constituents who voted for her, then she's doing her job.
Sure, we should all be playing 5D chess on the optics of everything and how it effects presidential outcomes. But I do like the fact that there are times, regardless of party lines, people aren't willing to tow the line.

I wouldn't make the same choice.
But I can see why someone would put as much pressure as possible on an administration right now. It is May. The elections are in November. You want to find out how many people Israel can slaughter between now and November?

Isn't her parents Palestinians? I can see why she wouldn't want to vote for a president who's complicit in her relatives being murdered. Why would you want to reward a person who's actively committing harm right now?
It's the candidate's responsibility to earn the vote of the electorate, alleviate their concerns. If your main pitch is that you are terrible, but not as terrible as the opponent, it's a pretty bad pitch. Look how that worked out for Hillary. If the Democrats lose, they'll continue to blame the voters, instead of actually fixing shit and running a proper campaign, listening to their base. The other day I saw a clip where Hillary said something along the lines of "Get over yourself" or something. So out of touch really.

Trump found guilty on all 34 charges in the hush money scandal. I mean if you followed this case as closely as I have it comes to no surprise, his attorney Todd Blanche was awful, Trump's witness was awful, on top of the threats to the judge, his family and intimidating the jury, its a shame this guilty verdict is unlikely to result in a jail sentence.
