Again - when this convoy thing started, your other states started dropping mandates. Trudeau, however, can't admit he handled this poorly. Instead of talking to them, or members of his party talk to them, he arrests them, steals their fuel (illegal no?), then when a court tells the police to give it back. You brought up BLM/teargassing, etc....at least you're smart enough to admit they were looting and rioting, but for whatever mental reason you have you can't acknowledge after that they shouldn't have been teargased? Harassing? They are honking all night long, setting off fireworks and lighting fires in the downtown of a city, harassing residents of the city constantly, desecrating war memorials, etc.
Steals their fuel? You can’t store fuel like that in a city. Do you know nothing about the laws on fuel storage? They are extremely strict, for very good reason. And with regards to protests and demonstrations laws about gasoline get even stricter for good reason. It’s an incendiary, highly explosive and flammable. The protestors were breaking multiple laws by having tents of jerry cans full of fuel.
The difference between you and me is that is that I despise both the left and the right, and any idiots who are protesting and gathering as mobs and doing stupid shit. I could care less where on the spectrum they reside. I wouldn’t vote for Trump or Biden or Clinton if I was American and I certainly didn’t vote for Trudeau or Singh or Scheer as a Canadian. I have no problems at all with teargasing looters/rioters when they are destroying peoples property, etc. Anitifa/BLM/Qanon/Proud Boys, etc. Fire away. Clearly, one side does a LOT more damage than the other.

You understand Canada is not America, right? Both on the left and the right. Moderates generally rule the day in most regards. As I said, 70% of this country disapproves of this trucker convoy. 60% plus think they should be fined and jailed where they are breaking the law (I already showed very clearly that they are). The vast majority of Canadians support Covid related measures and mandates. So I’d say the same thing you say about those who go against American ideals and what the “majority” support there. Leave. Go live somewhere else that suits there ideology. Or win elections, garner more support for your positions. Because right now, conservatives are so far gone, that they have under 40% support here. So clearly Canada isn’t for these people having an aneurysm about every public health measure during Covid.
I do find it interesting that the same mega companies that threatened to fire employees that didn't get vaccines are taking a hit to the pocket book over this. No one blinked an eye though when small businesses were torched to the ground in rough neighborhoods and cities and those that did blink an eye at it, and questioned it, where called racists. Same people calling those people racists suddenly don't like an actual peaceful protest that gets the worlds attention and causes a fraction of the damage those riots did.
