Absolutely shameful Vogue cover for the first female VP in history. Drapes off centered, Converse sneakers (!), piss poor Hillary-esque pant suit. Disastrous cover.

#NotMyVogueCover

What I don't get is that this whole blow-up follows the gendered narrative that women's accomplishments can be reduced to "what she wore". Nobody talked about Trump's fashion sense. This really does play into gender stereotypes and there are way too many liberal cheerleaders going along for the ride.

The fact that they'll punish people who acted on the claims that the election was stolen, and not the Republican leaders and the White House for inciting and brainwashing their base with those claims for months is so fucked up.
It is, but actions and words are still treated differently. We've seen murders in places like India and Myanmar in response to WhatsApp- and Facebook-driven lies, but now the ramifications are coming home to roost in America. America is no different, no better. America has layered on broadcast lies and hate for years and only now is coming to terms in the past year with how bad that swamp has made it for physical violence.

That said, I am a bit concerned that the necessary pursuit of accountability can cross over into an American witch hunt. People who boarded a bus to demonstrate in the streets shouldn't be crucified like the LARPers who raided the Capitol deserve to be.

Wasn't he spreading bunch of Covid conspiracy theories?
Not sure, but I know he has been critical of the lockdowns. Regardless, he is a "doctor" so he should be entitled to his views on Covid. Government "doctors" were entitled to their opinion when they told us all not to buy masks, stupidity that only prompted me to buy more.

Surprised NBC4 is even reporting this.

Virginia Officer on Leave After Capitol Riot Says He Did Nothing Wrong

“We were escorted in by the Capitol Police, shown around and told, ‘As long as you stay here, you’re fine.’” They stayed in cordoned areas, he said.

Robertson said he and Fracker were not aware at the time that the rally had turned violent.

“The Capitol building is as big as our town,” he said. “Where I was at there was no violence. There was no fighting with police officers. The door was wide open and police officers were actually handing bottles of water out to people that came in.”

So to me, it seems like there were peaceful protesters allowed to go into the capitol building, while there was a small segment of probably QTards causing actual problems. This doesn't go along with the narrative being portrayed.

Will Biden be able to sell more arms to the Saudis than Trump? Stay tuned to find out!

Does that even make sense? Wouldn't the Iranian government be enemies with Sunni fundamentalists?
It doesn't make sense at all, but logic hasn't mattered in any of this since the beginning, so why introduce it now.

Does Al Qaeda even exist as anything relevant anymore? And why in Iran? That's sworn enemy ISIS country.

I don't trust Pompeo to know his Sunnis from his Shiites from his Sufis from his Chris Sununus.
