Wasn't he spreading bunch of Covid conspiracy theories?
Not sure, but I know he has been critical of the lockdowns. Regardless, he is a "doctor" so he should be entitled to his views on Covid. Government "doctors" were entitled to their opinion when they told us all not to buy masks, stupidity that only prompted me to buy more.

Surprised NBC4 is even reporting this.
Virginia Officer on Leave After Capitol Riot Says He Did Nothing Wrong
“We were escorted in by the Capitol Police, shown around and told, ‘As long as you stay here, you’re fine.’” They stayed in cordoned areas, he said.
Robertson said he and Fracker were not aware at the time that the rally had turned violent.
“The Capitol building is as big as our town,” he said. “Where I was at there was no violence. There was no fighting with police officers. The door was wide open and police officers were actually handing bottles of water out to people that came in.”

So to me, it seems like there were peaceful protesters allowed to go into the capitol building, while there was a small segment of probably QTards causing actual problems. This doesn't go along with the narrative being portrayed.
