Don't worry. If Biden wins, he won't be in office for more than a year anyway. He will be declared incompetent just before his second year, and he will be what most of us have thought all along. President by Proxy for Kamala Harris.
I don’t know man, we have a pretty incoherent president at the moment. with current congressional numbers, I can’t see much changing no matter what happens
I know but it’s really sad democrats in two elections in the row didnt manage to appoint a better leader, Biden and Hillary are same losers who bring nothing new. People are tired of status quo.

I get the feeling that the energy there is in the younger progressive crowd/ candidates. The establishment has to court that energy but them and their donors don't actually want someone like that.
You end up having to pick dinosaurs who are the remaining party men with name recognition/ money and the pickings are slim hence "ridinwithBiden"
I’m not trying to change the course of history. That is both impossible and stupid. However the fact remains that they had a treaty at hand. It wasn’t just losing wars. By law it is stolen.

Republicans nominated Mitt Romney 2 years after tea party revolution and had John Boehner and Paul Ryan leading then in the house until recently. These things take time to bubble up. Just last week a couple of progressives won primaries against democratic incumbents.

With a populist like Trump it’s impossible another candidate to win primaries against him. Populists are very dangerous for democracy, they divide people, you’re either their supporter or their enemy there is no middle ground.

You’re preaching to the choir my friend. Winning primary against an incumbent president is unprecedented in modern times though even if he’s not a populist. You need to go back to 1968 to find an eligible incumbent not being his party’s nominee.

Even the smallest differences between the candidates can go a long way. In Iran we always get to choose the lesser of two evils and blocking the more evil option (even in a country like Iran) always has significant effects on people's lives even if it looks like nothing has changed at the macro level.

Is trump really evil or he just an ‘idiot’ or pretends to be one. Because we have to define ‘evil’ here.
Remember, even choosing ‘lesser’ evil, you’re still choosing evil.
Choosing between Biden and Trump is very hard. If i were voting, id skip and go rather fishing that day.

In a 2 party system election is pretty much always choosing the lesser of 2 evils unless your choice is between Pol Pot and Stalin in which case you ask yourself why bother?

You can almost never find the ideal option, and there's nothing like voting based on one's principles in the elections in my view, which means going fishing on the day you are given the privilege of voting literally means choosing the more evil option. Trump is dangerous to everything I like this country for and he lacks everything I'd respect a man for.

No, sometimes, not voting shows that youre not part of something you dont agree with anything they represent (which might not be the case with Trump/Biden) There was a time I had to choose for mayor in my town, there were two despicable morons (who had many corruption scandals). I decided to draw a crap on both of their names. Which meant invalid vote.
Dude today we learned that Trump’s first national security advisor is a proud member of a crazy cult who believe most of “establishment” politicians are pedophiles. We have bigger problems.

I have had this conversation with close family and friends before every election in Iran. You choose what your vote means. My vote will never mean that I am part of anything or endorsing a group or even the person I'm voting for. My vote means I find candidate X more likely to help implement more of the policies I like to see than candidate Y, and I think you can almost always make that distinction between any two candidates.
I was even capable of easily making a choice between Mahmood and Akbar, @Ronn
