That is changing. Slowly. But it's changing. You don't find a passive citizenry in between all these big cities having issues. IMO you are going to see a boom for small towns again and its the small towns you don't really want to have a confrontation with. Is it liberal policies or just the high cost of living in general. Because most of the people moving to places like Arizona or Texas are moving to urban areas like Phoenix, Austin or Houston, which are also Democrat run.
