there is something I genuinely don't get and would love someone who lives in the US to explain this to me, last night the gentleman who got shot outside wendy's in Atlanta resisted getting handcuffed.. is there a law that gives people the option to resist doing what a policeman asks you to do? I don't know if the guy was under the influence of alcohol or drugs but isn't the right thing to do is comply with what is being asked of you until you prove your innocence? I would imagine they would get him to pass an alcohol or blood test and then let him go if indeed he was clear...

Do you realize you guys have basically got our culture to the point of getting fired from a job because you can't say something that the left disagrees with? In EVERY industry you can imagine, a conservative CAN'T EVEN "LIKE" a post on social media that someone can't take to their boss and say I'm offended by this person because of a post they liked. Are you serious? There is absolutely no comparison between who is actually the ones crying for safe spaces. College campuses for example, should be free for students to debate and work their way through conflict. What happened there? Lefties can't handle dissent at all and force universities to either completely block opposition views or quarantine conservative speech to some remote part of campus under supervision.

Indeed - still, all things added up there is still no comparison for conservatives having to battle their way around social media to voice their opinions and wondering when they will get banned. College campuses are no longer areas for free thought. Instead, you shell out 40,000 and worry about pissing off a professor because you think politically different than they do. You even have conservative professors writing open letters to their peers as an anonymous person because they know they will be fired if they disagree. I am sure that you can name plenty of examples on the other side, that's what you're eluding too, which is fine but IMO there is absolutely no comparison.

You can find numerous examples of leftie professors openly advocating extreme positions and even to the point of violence yet THEY will be safe in their careers. As soon as a professor with a conservative opinion says hold on, let's look at this maybe like this and BOOM, cancel culture circles the wagon around that guy/girl until the university/company succumbs to the pressure to remove the person.
