They were breaking mandatory stay at home and quarantine orders, while forcing their way into government buildings, heavily armed. I suppose police should have been arresting them for breaking stay at home orders.

Just like police are arresting peaceful protestors and random people for violating “curfews” right now. Hence the reason Atlanta fires those two cops for tasing and arresting the two young black college kids in their car for violating Curfew.

But this is all nothing new. The FBI has been warning about it for years.

I'm not sure it was mandatory there, also you are comparing felonies to fines now?

Additionally, I don't buy the racist rhetoric, blacks are more likely to be killed by non whites than whites. Not to mention majority of crime is committed by blacks.

Because they lost a buddy with whom they used to beat up and rob old ladies at gunpoint in their own homes? I'm absolutely at a loss how violent protests are acceptable now because a piece of shit has been sent where he belongs. Why aren't the authorities doing anything?
Do you know what Floyd did?

I have zero sympathy for racist right wing second amendment asshats who believe they should be able to force their way into government buildings to protest while heavily armed, and that government should not tax them or tell them how to live, while hypocritically Thinking we need heavy policing of minorities.

Racist rhetoric? Yeah. It’s been shown over and over and over that right wing whack jobs are behind most mass shootings in America, and that white nationalism is rampant in American police forces.

neither of those statistics proves that racism doesn’t exist or isn’t racial bias in encounters with law enforcement, they show completely different things

granted those are also large issues within the African American population

I don’t think anyone would deny that the African American population has hives problems, but the “bootstrap theory” of them sorting it out without any help that the right advocates doesn’t really have a place in the modern discourse and completely ignores centuries of systemic oppression. Segregation hasn’t even been gone for a generation in some of America.

It proves there's no systemic racism, and there is no racial bias since more whites are killed despite blacks commiting the vast majority of crimes among all ethnicities.

no it doesn’t, not even close

all it shows is that there are more whites than blacks

and that blacks are more prone to commit crime

it doesn’t examine the system at all

just labelless numbers you can more to fit your ideas

a good statistic would be to look at encounters between law enforcement and blacks, what percentage of those encounters ends in use of excessive force

then do the same with whites

then compare or take it further and when cases of excessive force do occur, what percentage face internal review, what are the outcomes, etc

That actually proves my point if there's less blacks yet they commit the vast majority of crime, the conclusion is pretty straightforward and has nothing to do with cops. Theres no idea fitting it's clear as day and sure as hell is more indicative of what's going on than anecdotal rhetoric.
