When was the last time it happened to a white man? The Michigan gun protestors committed an act of terrorism by threatening the physical safety of the governor and they weren’t charged at all. I remember reading that same day a white man with mental issues getting gunned down after calling the cops himself, just coz you don't hear about it it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Honestly it's a complicated issue, it's hard to see whether it's a policing problem or a simple response to the level of violence on the other side. It's become such a difficult job where at 40k a year you risk your life, livelihood and reputation every single day.

Very complicated, and anyone that says otherwise is deluding themselves. I would never discount the violence on the otherside as you put it, however look at the very instance which sparked all of this for example. Guy is handcuffed on the floor with 3 other officers and claiming that he cannot breathe. What violence could possible come from Chauvin removing his knee from Floyd's neck in this case?

You could keep going really. I have multiple family members working in law enforcement and have a tremendous amount of respect for the field itself and the difficulty of the job, but for the sake of both officers and the citizenry, training needs to be revamp, changes be made, and the assholes that do these things not be protected.
