on top of that, he doesn’t support universal healthcare and is strict on drug laws.
Agreed comrade, furthermore it's deeply problematic and troubling that as mayor he commanded the police force to focus on the demographic that nationwide is overrepresented in all types of violent crime. :agree: I'm literally shaking right now!

why do you say that? i dont know much about him.
He did A LOT, it would be best to just read about him.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayoralty_of_Michael_Bloomberg

I would consider him a centrist, rather than being a part of either of the two main parties. This city is where it is now in terms of real estate development and desirability in large part because of him, as he was in bed with the real estate industry and VERY pro development. But as a result, this caused our biggest current issue, an increasingly bad homelessness problem and real estate prices being untouchable for the average person.

Plain and simple, he gets shit done one way or another. I think people greatly underestimate him because he entered the race late. Yes he's going to get hammered on the "stop and frisk" issue at the debate, but I would in no way be surprised if he continues to take the majority of support from other mainstream democrat candidates, but he won't be swaying the more progressive wing at all. I still see him making this a tight race to the end.

Sorry but since when did being a businessman become a requirement to be president? I don’t give a fuck how many successful businesses you have, I want someone with experience in government roles.

What’s wrong with owning a business? Since when does being a leechfuck give someone the right to rule over us? Is that the needed prerequisite to govern, creating thousands of “laws” for the masses that you may or may not need to abide by because you’re part of the protected class of ruling elites? Politicians like Sanders are the worst of the worst since they have no real world experience and cannot relate in anyway to me, you, or any other person trying to make a living in this country. Never held a real job, never done anything but sit around on his fatass lecturing us. Folks like him are a disease that only perpetuate massive, bloated governments that siphon off cash from everyone else.

there’s nothing wrong with owning a business but I don’t see how that makes someone more qualified to be president.

He’s been a senator. And this thing about him siphoning cash is ridiculous. That’s what the modern Republican Party does. Siphon cash from taxpayers for their own personal gain. How are taxpayers spending $750/day to house a single migrant right now?

oh right, because the companies housing those migrants are owned by politicians who overcharge because they can.

come on man, how can you accuse Bernie of siphoning money and then turn a blind eye to what republicans are doing under trump?

i said it was his best moment not that it qualifies him to be president
wasn’t directed at you particularly, just venting because I hear that a lot.

I think it's a few things. Starting and growing a successful business can signal the ability to successfully delegate work, that a person has discipline, can deal with or negotiate with people, things of that nature. Of course this isnt always true though, I'm sure we all know managers or business owners that suck at pretty much everything. But ultimately, it comes down to our cultural obsession with money I think. Ultimately, far to much emphasis is placed on business and it should have never gotten to this revered status.

Trump called San Francisco worse than a slum. Said there will be federal intervention

What is up with that lol
San Francisco has a huge homelessness problem, but Trump can’t do shit. This is him pandering to his base. In other news he’s messing with NY to pressure them to drop lawsuits against him. Beautiful man.
