As a moderate not picking sides, I have to ask. When was the last time you saw the otjhr side of that radical coin burn human beings? When was the last rightwing organized human burning? That's not really a fair comment from you as you mention it like it was just last week. It was over fifty years ago. At least!

Or, as Zach said, torture another human being over Facebook live?
Dylan Roof. Bullets not burning.

But that is neither here nor there. The morbid actions a few do not reflect an entire population of people.

Agreed. Both sides love to call out the bad faces of the other side as if a few bad apples on either is indicative of an entire group. Both have bad sides.

I don't think you understood what I meant. I was talking about Zach's previous examples. He thinks feminazis are just as bad as the KKK. They're not. Far from.

Of course. That's why the American system is incredibly flawed and almost designed to divide the people.

And that's a disgrace. But I truly believe this whole Trump ordeal is something we just need to get through before we can start to improve society. But you can be sure I will hold Andy and Zach accountable. Because they'll be among the first to absolve themselves, you'll see.
I don't know why we bother at this point. I'm done with responding to Zach. You'll notice that he did not respond to a single point I made about republican policies that have harmed the African American community. He's too ignorant and uneducated in the social sciences and humanities to understand that the problem isn't "lefties" and PC-ness. It's morons like him who believe casual racism is great humour that necessitate the PC movement and make it so over-the-top idiotic. It's ill-informed people like Zach who say stupid shit like "Republicans only work with the actual truth and real facts" while Dems just lie and manipulate to create a welfare state and keep the poor people down, that cause these inane SJW movements to be so extreme. These movements started as a reaction to bigoted, ignorant people like Zach. Although Zach would like to suggest he started as a reaction to them.

He's a white middle class Belgian, getting educated for free, spouting utter shit here that is incredibly condescending to the leaders of the African American community. They literally vote 90% for the Democrats every election, but Zach knows better then the entire community, and the Democrats are solely and exclusively responsible for all the issues facing black America today.

Yes. White middle class Belgian with no education in the social sciences is far more knowledgable than the leaders of the African American community on the issues facing that particular community. :howler:

And in general I have no problem with Zach on this forum, but in this thread he's doing a grand job of portraying himself as a morally reprehensible idiot, regardless of whether he supports Trump or not.

He's very sensible to indoctrination. Because people are generally quite pampered in Belgium, they get a big sense of entitlement. Instead of realising this, they truly think they deserve more and more. Zach too, when asked, would say that he earned everything he got in life. Truth is the government covered a lot of his healthcare expenses and almost his entire education. And yes, we pay a hell of a lot of taxes, but personally, when I think about, I really wouldn't trade it for the American system.

And as for him talking about American politics.. You're right. He's making an ass of himself. But it is important to keep responding to people like him, because when you don't, bad things start to happen. I understand the frustration though.

Well, in case you guys don't. Trump is actually doing things and will continue to do things. This month he wants to eliminate some parts of the federal government. There may be other divisions of the EPA, Interior, etc that get added.

Here is a list of some of the agencies Trump is looking to eliminate in an attempt to reduce the deficit:

Corporation For Public Broadcasting (Sesame Street)
National Endowment for the Arts (Obvious)
National Endowment for the Humanities (Obvious)
Minority Business Development Agency (Obvious)
Economic Development Administration (assists poor communities with infrastructure needs)
International Trade Administration (helps businesses sell their products overseas)
Manufacturing Extension Partnership (assists small to medium sized manufacturers improve and grow)
Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (helps local communities recruit police)
Office of Violence Against Women (tries to reduce domestic violence)
Legal Services Corporation (provide legals services for the poor)
Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department (pretty obvious)
Environment and Natural Resources Division of the Justice Department (if you break pollution laws, they come for you)
Overseas Private Investment Corporation (helps businesses invest in large scale operations overseas)
UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (obvious)
Office of Electricity Deliverability and Energy Reliability (invests in electricity grid projects for modernization)
Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (obvious)
Office of Fossil Energy (helped develop clean coal tech, works to limit carbon footprint of nation)
Jesus fucking Christ, that's ridiculous. We actually use MEP to get state grants at my job. Why the fuck is he trying to get rid of those agencies?

Unless one of the bad apples happens to be the president
I don't know if I'd call him a bad apple. I dislike him as a person, respect him as a business, don't know about him as a politician. Nobody does. I think his policies represent a side I don't agree with but he's not a racist, he's not a "bad apple" in the manner we've been talking about (ie: shooting up black churches ala Dylan Roof) and let's not make it like he is.

That being said, I didn't vote for him but I'm interested to see what he does. Much like President Obama, we have near zero record to go off of and his campaign stumping. Hardly indicative of how his four years WILL go, again, just like President Obama. Only the other side.

Because Trump is a shill for Corporate America. I honestly cannot believe anyone thought the guy was anti-establishment, or pro small-business.

He might do wonders for corporations and big business, but the small businesses will only be hurt by his policies.

Tell me something if you are being treated by an untrained doctor do you give him the benefit of the doubt or are you skeptical? Especially if they have both the emotional intelligence and diction of a toddler

As a manager of two medical practices, I don't think it's a fair comparison.

And I think its a little rhetoric heavy. The diction of a toddler? The emotional intelligence of a toddler? Honestly? I mean, I dislike him as the president too but seriously that's a bit much. Again, too rhetoric heavy. It sounds like the Republicans when President Obama got elected. Sky is falling, civilization is over as we know it, blah blah blah.

"No, no but seriously, this time it will be over now that Reagan got elected!"

"No, no but seriously, this time it will be over now that Clinton got elected!"

"No, no but seriously, this time it will be over now that George W. Bush got elected!"

"No, no but seriously, this time it will be over now that Obama got elected!"

"No, no but seriously, this time it will be over now that Trump got elected!"

No, no. But seriously this time. Come on...

No i meant it literally, i know a 6 year old girl who speaks and deals with criticism much better than cheeto Jesus, but hey inheriting a fortune, having good lawyers, and stiffing people changes that perception for some.

I don't see how anyone compares Obama to Trump. While it is certainly arguable that Obama failed to come through with a lot of his promises (which he shares the blame for with a staunchly opposed congress, and the inability of both sides to get over the inane partisan divide), he is a well-spoken, emotionally intelligent, eloquent man. There was good reason for the high expectations for his presidency.

Trump is a petulant idiot, appealing to people's baser instincts. He has the emotional intelligence of a toddler, and is the least eloquent president That I'm aware of. There is good reason for the low expectations for him. Which I suppose is probably positive for him, considering it won't be all that hard to exceed them.

Which is Cheeto Jesus' achilles heel. Expect questions of his legitimacy to be exploited AF over the next four years to keep him reactionary and harping on the defensive.

Too easy to troll those hot buttons, really.
