right libertarianism isnt "la la land"

Belgium is. Where 70+% of what your boss pays for you, goes away in taxes
Only a few more percentage points higher and you will live in paradise!

Yeah -- free market economics is terrible! :howler:

"But he's our guy, so it's OK."

Obama trew out 35 ambassadors and put new sanctions against Russia based on this ?

- - - Updated - - -

Oh yes, and RT.

I read RT, its mad fun. They dig for the stuff you dont find in US media. And their 'opt-edge' is moderate propaganda, rather enjoyable.

Thing is, if americans believe 'RUSSIA TODAY', and not your own media, perhaps question your own media ?

Japanese car manufacturers employ 1.3m Americans. They've done their share. And it doesn't even fucking matter. Trump himself outsources labour. What the fuck does he think is doing imposing his wants on a Japanese car manufacturer?
While i didnt approved it and still dont :

Toyota announced 10 billion investment over 5 years for the new Camry as a response over the import threat if they build in mexico.
Following chrysler's 1 million investment and ford cancelling its mexican plans to invest in Michigan instead

Curious to see how this situation will evolve

In terms of jobs / market share for Toyota none of this will affect either the US or Toyota negatively imo. Neither party is going to sacrifice the mutual benefits just like that. Trump, as always, will simply not follow through. He shouts something, then forgets about it, or even changes his opinion completely. Toyota are probably well aware of this too.

But it's the neverending stream of bullshit coming from this man that is going to have an impact on the US. Americans might criticise Obama (the man who, god forbid, wants everyone to have access to healthcare), but he has restored much of America's image abroad after it was hurt badly by the Bush administration.

Yeah, by beeing in war during his entire 8 year reign. By beeing hardline against israel but ignore iran and north korea. By not adressing IS despite beeing in the region, but be mad as shit when Russia assists its ally. By backing a a fascist coup on a democratically chosen leader in Ukraine.
by forcing the failure that is Obamacare. By completely failing to adress the black issue and not acting against the racist BLM organisation. By not adressing racidal islam terror and not even using the word following various attacks. By neglecting gays following the club shootout. By giving a garbage speech at the funerals of the mudered cops while George Bush, of all people, gave class act speech. By doubling american depth. By beeing the president with the smallest job creation following a crisis in US history. By losing over 1000 seats in congres and parliament during his 8 year stay.

Stick to facts. You are bashing trump for something he wont do in the future according to you.

God i'm happy those leftist failure democrats are on their way out.

The way Trump responds to criticism is like a child in the school playground, it's outright embarrassing for a grown man to do it, never mind someone in even a basic position of power.

Facts. Lol.

You do realise that the rise of your new leader has been dubbed the beginning of post truth politics?

Trump is, and quite undeniably so, one of the biggest liars you will ever come across on the political stage. If facts mattered to you, you'd be outraged.

That people have sympathy for and trust in this man is one of the most depressing things I have ever witnessed.

Pretty much, but facts dont care about feelings.

Lets stick to what Trump actually does.
Which is lying. A lot. And it has been proved too. Every time. If we stick to what he does - not to what he says he does - he is a disgrace.

Ffs, Zach. I know you're pissed because European media are biased. They are. It pisses me off too. But that shit doesn't mean Trump is okay. Look things up for yourself. He's a proven liar with a track record of coercing people.

I'm not a trump supporter, he's not my "new leader". I wanted Cruz to win, but he fucked up with his 9/11 comment.

I did watch most of the republican preliminaties on youtube, and Trump won his arguments by attacking the character of his opponents by pointing out critical flaws, and beating them when he could catch them on lies or faults. I know 100% you didnt see a single second of it.
Trump is the guy that attacks a jeb bush by pointing out he's not a leader and is an energyless spineless person. Crushed basically anyone who tried to attack him with facts. Some of those facts mattered, others mattered less". He was excellent in the republican debates cause he knew all his opponents and knew how to turn certain traits or facts of them into an issue.
Only two candidates didnt dare attack him. When Cruz, who was beeing comfortably second did, Trump sadly killed him. The other guy has recieved a spot in his cabinet.

Like every politician he made several agenda points he wants to realize. Like every politician, he wont be able to do all of them.

You havent watched anything about him and base your comments on the leftist mainstream media (everything except fox who are incredibly backing trump, even fireing that great women, sadly), the media less then 30% believes after the election( down from 36%).

And what do those media do ? Campaign that all other media is "fake" and "post factual". The nerve.

I dont give a damn if trump said that his opponents are shit. I dont care that he said in a locker room you gotto grab women by the pussy. I dont care he gives his opponents silly nicknames that significantly damage them, voting wise.

I care about what he will do, and only that.

I hate state involvement in economics. So i dont like the carrier deal, i dont like forcing manufactors to not build in mexico.

However, i want to see how he does. One of my main news channels is the daily wire (shapiro) and they are rather trump critical.

First of all that's not what they report. More importantly though, it's not why I'm anti-Trump. I am basing my opinion on what I watch him him do and hear him say. My opinion of him would be just as bad if all I did was read his Twitter account. Actually, it would probably be even worse. Don't accuse media of being anti-Trump, because they offer him platform to speak and he ridicules himself on this platform.

Finally, you know fuck all about what I have or have not watched. The fucking nerve to think that you do is staggering.

And Cruz

He didn't say it in a locker room. Check your facts. It's locker room talk and frankly I was not that bothered by it, but had he said it in an actual locker room, no one would have cared.

Am I reading Zach or RUS? Can't really tell the difference
Zach's issue very clearly is with the media. And he's not completely wrong about some of it. Unfortunately it's also clouding his judgment regarding Trump. In fact I believe that's what happened to a lot of people. Because certain media wanted to influence the elections by bashing Trump, you got people who desperately wanted to vote Trump.

Thing is you don't need the bashing media to tell you and influence what to think of his character, all you gotta do is watch him open his mouth or use his twitter account.

No, thats feelings cause you dont like his brash person.

The only thing that matters is what you DO as a president. Obama was an amazing media character and absolutely failed.

- - - Updated - - -

That's pretty much what I have been doing all along.
But thats where its wrong.

Dont judge a man by his words, but by his actions

So far his actions are :

- Support Israel
- Disapprove nuclear capabilities to Iran
- Carrier deal
- Bullying manufactors to build in america

I really dont care that he calls rosie o donnal a fatass bitch shitcunt. (which she is tbh).
Or that he speaks the language a majority of men do in locker rooms

Not very presidenty, but lets see what he actually does

I disapprove carrier deal and manufactor thing. Have concerns about nuclear capabilities for iran. For now approve his israely stance IF it leads to solving issues there, which we dont know, but by alienating israel you dont solve anything either
