Not sure if "you" is referring to me or the one who's harassed. What I meant was this would hardly make news if the extent of harassment was some twitter trolling. I find it way beyond that. And I said earlier that I disagree with that "don't get online" thing since it is hardly a choice.
my thing with online harassment is that you actually have to log on to get harassed which kinda makes it more masochistic tthan harassment, sure there is some inconvenience involved, changing your twitter handle etc but it's hardly a psychologically scarring experience

Hacking into their shit is definitely enough to grab attention
That's not harassment that's trespassing

It's also sad how pretty much 99% of your posts in this thread are it's sad, it's sad, it's sad. You never used to be this fucking boring.

I already have, and that's good enough for me.
It's sad because i expect better out of you if I'm mistaken you let me know

1- not necessarily. It's apparently a practice these days for trolls to find your personal info and post it online. So you can't just stop it by logging off
2- same can be said about other types of harassment, as ALC also noted. You have to have a job first to get harassed on your job; or you have to walk on the street to be harassed on the street, etc. Going online is not a choice especially for a journalist who are pressured to raise their profile through writing personal blogs, be active on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
3- People are different when it comes to mental toughness. You can't say it's not a scarring experience for anybody.

Conservative Writer David French Tells How White Supremacists Have Tormented His Family For Opposing Trump

Trump isn't a racist, he just appeals to racist. (Ok maybe he's a bit racist).

The Democrats could have easily beaten him if they didn't have their heads up their asses. Better to have a guy that wants to raise taxes but who's honest and trustworthy, than a corrupt corporate shill pretending to be human.

Trump is neither honest nor trustworthy.

Honest and trustworthy? Trump? Those are the last adjectives that come to mind when I think of him.
