That tells me that there's a lot of retarded people out there and not all of them are voting for Trump.
:agree:

Besides, it's Trump supporters who have been talking about armed uprisings and revolutions if the election is "stolen" from them.

Both sides have morons clearly, but it's also pretty clear that Trump and his over the top rhetoric is what has given rise to this in this particular election cycle.

It's pretty sad, really
It is. But it's also infuriating that people who know better still willingly decide to back this man.

Also, combine this fact with the Weimar Republic as your location and people get the wrong ideas..

Anyone who calls ben Shapiro a friend deserves to be tormented, they are both milking this situation for political points they are just as disgusting as Trump
Of course I'm not a fan of anybody who writes for National Review. But this should not happen to anybody, even Trump himself.

IIt's the Internet all it takes for it to stop is to log out, but he had to make it sound all traumatic, he's 100% milking this. You don't wanna people to bother you online, don't get online
I think it's not mentioned in this story, but trolls also found his wife's blog and started posting gore stuff on the comments, so it was more than that.
And I disagree with that "don't get online" thing. I know he's milking it (he was on Terry Gross' Fresh Air yesterday), but that doesn't make it OK in my book.

"Don't get online" in this day and age is not an option. That being said, at that position, you should expect some online harassment. I don't think the Dems are exempt from that, he's just milking it like X said.

Which is totally up to you, hence my stance
How is getting harassed up them? If someone gets harassed on the street, the answer is not to walk down a different street. Likewise, if someone gets harassed at work, the answer is not to find a different job.

Talking about " the extent of it that grabs one's attention" when talking about ONLINE harassment, your analogies have no bearing here

Not sure if "you" is referring to me or the one who's harassed. What I meant was this would hardly make news if the extent of harassment was some twitter trolling. I find it way beyond that. And I said earlier that I disagree with that "don't get online" thing since it is hardly a choice.

It's also sad how pretty much 99% of your posts in this thread are it's sad, it's sad, it's sad. You never used to be this fucking boring.

I already have, and that's good enough for me.

You already have justified voting for Trump?

Man, you are going to be so embarrassed about all this in a couple of years.
