You see this discussion and then still got people saying that double standards for women in politics don't exist.

Last time i voted in Belgium, i voted for this women

She's an extremely competent politician. And is doing very well.



See, i dont care at all about color, race, gender... I only care about what the person does and stands for.


The reason i'm talking about Michelle Obama is because its an insane issue of both republican and democratic candidates rather then focus on their own agenda, that they need to please a bunch of lobby groups and make compromises all the way to presidency.


Michelle would not have that. I want her because a charismatic strong black female, will always get elected, so she has the unique possibility of picking every point in her agenda without compromise.

i've voted on Turtelboom and De Block in belgium this and the previous election, and they are ugly as shit. But at their respective times, very competent females. And since the liberal party has absolute dogshit male choises, i picked the female competent ones instead

It happens subconsciously. Sometimes people just don't like the way others look. I bet in this election too people will have their votes influenced by appearance. And that's with two incredibly unattractive candidates.

He made some very good jokes at the beginning. The "pardon me" joke was great, although him explaining it was pretty lame. But he turned it into more of his nonsense from his rallies for the last 5 minutes. He just can't help himself.

They describe Trump taking perfectly good rebutle jokes and replacing them with "you don't have money, hahahaha". He's pretty tone deaf when it comes to comedy but he doesn't know it. The one with Michelle and Melania was great and really took the pressure off. It was a silly situation to begin with and the joke completely disarmed it. If he had shown half as much intelligence and ad rem responses in his campaign he'd have trashed Clinton.

I still think he has a chance, but Clinton is obviously the favorite now.

1) Clintons' 6 point lead. It will be hard for Trump to cut that down now that the conventions and debates are over.

2) Like you said, people underestimating Trump and Democrats being complacent might help Trump

3) The Democrats have a better ground game, shown by their far superior advertising resources and number of field offices

The double standard shown more so in this election than most previously, is that Cultural Republicans (of the alt-right sort) can behave like dirt and no one cares. Could you imagine the outrage if Hillary talked about raping people, or was accused of sexual assault/harassment by 10+ people, or called her opponent a nasty man, or threatened to jail him. She'd be crucified. Or even Obama. If a democrat behaved like Trump, well, first of all, they'd never get close to a presidential nomination, and second, they'd be destroyed during the general election. The Republicans tried to impeach Bill Clinton for lying about having an affair... yet most of them are still going to vote for Donald.

Trump quotes sources like Alex Jones over at InfoWars who says that Hillary and Obama are actual demons and he's been told by credible sources they smell like sulphur which confirms that.
