It's Zach. I don't know anyone who would vote for someone based on anything to do with physical appearance.
You see this discussion and then still got people saying that double standards for women in politics don't exist.
Last time i voted in Belgium, i voted for this women

She's an extremely competent politician. And is doing very well.

See, i dont care at all about color, race, gender... I only care about what the person does and stands for.

The reason i'm talking about Michelle Obama is because its an insane issue of both republican and democratic candidates rather then focus on their own agenda, that they need to please a bunch of lobby groups and make compromises all the way to presidency.

Michelle would not have that. I want her because a charismatic strong black female, will always get elected, so she has the unique possibility of picking every point in her agenda without compromise.

i've voted on Turtelboom and De Block in belgium this and the previous election, and they are ugly as shit. But at their respective times, very competent females. And since the liberal party has absolute dogshit male choises, i picked the female competent ones instead

It happens subconsciously. Sometimes people just don't like the way others look. I bet in this election too people will have their votes influenced by appearance. And that's with two incredibly unattractive candidates.
They got to pick between a bigger and worse version of berlusconi with a third of the brain

Or a cuttroat bitch that swaps alll her agenda points around in whatever way gives her more votes and wants to go to war in Syria and against Russia.

He made some very good jokes at the beginning. The "pardon me" joke was great, although him explaining it was pretty lame. But he turned it into more of his nonsense from his rallies for the last 5 minutes. He just can't help himself.
You should read up on Comedy Central's Roast of Donald Trump. There's a pretty awesome article on the making of it. They describe Trump taking perfectly good rebutle jokes and replacing them with "you don't have money, hahahaha". He's pretty tone deaf when it comes to comedy but he doesn't know it. And of course he surrounds himself with "yes people".

Thanks. Just read an article on it. Tone deaf when it comes to comedy is a perfect way to describe it. ::lol3::

Donald Trump is visiting an elementary school and he visits one of the classes. They are in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asks Mr Trump if he would like to lead the discussion of the word "tragedy." So he asks the class for an example of a tragedy. One little boy stands up and offers: "If my best friend who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy." "No," says Mr Trump, "that would be an accident." A little girl raises her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy." "I'm afraid not," explains the exalted businessman. "That's what we would call a great loss." The room goes silent. No other children volunteer. Mr Trump searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?" Finally at the back of the room, little Johnny raises his hand. In a quiet voice he says: "If a private jet carrying you was struck by a missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy." "Fantastic!" exclaims Mr Trump, "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?" "Well," says the boy, "because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident either."

yeah that joke was good. Also the one with Michelle and Melania. But his delivery (especially on the "pardon me" one) was like somebody who has never told jokes.

There really is no option when you can vote for someone named Turtleboom. That's badass!

The one with Michelle and Melania was great and really took the pressure off. It was a silly situation to begin with and the joke completely disarmed it. If he had shown half as much intelligence and ad rem responses in his campaign he'd have trashed Clinton.

I still think he has a chance, but Clinton is obviously the favorite now.

He definitely has a chance, especially with everyone on the liberal side thinking that it's over.

I think there are a few factors that will decide the final results

1) Clintons' 6 point lead. It will be hard for Trump to cut that down now that the conventions and debates are over.

2) Like you said, people underestimating Trump and Democrats being complacent might help Trump

3) The Democrats have a better ground game, shown by their far superior advertising resources and number of field offices
http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/trump-clinton-field-offices/

4) Trump actually underperformed his polls in the primaries. People were dismissing him as the Republican nominee (including Nate Silver) because they thought that his polling performance would drop, it didn't.

5) Media attention. With Trump's moronic statement on conceding the race in the third debate, all the attention will be focused on him. During this election cycle, the candidate in the spotlight has suffered massively in the polls, so Trump is likely to suffer even more in the coming days.

6) Early voting and absentee ballots. Millions of people have already voted. Advantage Clinton

7) Unforeseen circumstances. Major Wikileaks dump, another starting revelation etc. Hard to judge their impact.

All in all, I think factors 3 to 6 together will slightly outweigh number 2 and Clinton will end up winning by 6-8 points.

It's Zach. I don't know anyone who would vote for someone based on anything to do with physical appearance.

The double standard shown more so in this election than most previously, is that Cultural Republicans (of the alt-right sort) can behave like dirt and no one cares. Could you imagine the outrage if Hillary talked about raping people, or was accused of sexual assault/harassment by 10+ people, or called her opponent a nasty man, or threatened to jail him. She'd be crucified. Or even Obama. If a democrat behaved like Trump, well, first of all, they'd never get close to a presidential nomination, and second, they'd be destroyed during the general election. The Republicans tried to impeach Bill Clinton for lying about having an affair... yet most of them are still going to vote for Donald.

Trump quotes sources like Alex Jones over at InfoWars who says that Hillary and Obama are actual demons and he's been told by credible sources they smell like sulphur which confirms that.
Did he legit quote that?
