Not related to presidential race, but this story says a lot about Texas. Mary Lou Bruner is a candidate for state board of education district 9. Last night, she won 48% of the vote in republican primary and is heading to a runoff primary on May 24th. She's probably the craziest person ever run for any office in US.

Highlights of Bruner's statements:

I think the rest of the country has been envious of states like California and Minnesota that got to elect cartoon character governors in Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura. Of course, we know the shit sandwich you get as a result, but there are 48 more states who don't get that yet.

Another peach from Texas. At least he didn't run for a government office, and Travis county is heavily democrat and no republican stands a chance here.
On Super Tuesday, the day Mr. Morrow unseated the county’s incumbent in a decisive victory, he tweeted up an inflammatory storm aimed at both Republicans and Democrats. He referred to Bill Clinton’s penis, said the Bush family are “criminals and should be in lockdown in a federal prison,” accused former Gov. Rick Perry of Texas of being “a rampaging bisexual adulterer” and said Hillary Clinton “murdered 76 people at Waco.” There were many more, filled with highly crude language.

The first thing I though when I read this was Ace, not Jesse.
That'd be great in so many levels

The idea that any attack from Romney will help in this situation only means that GOP doesn't understand the mess they are in.

This. They should try reverse psychology now. Come out saying Trump is the best or something like that. Maybe then the voters will change their mind. Right now whatever they do, they are just pushing Trump further up the polls.
